Great features, if you get it to work
If you logged in throw Facebook for the first time, it’s really a challenge to access your account from other devices. But the most annoying bug is a malfunction, that closes the app during its upload process when it reaches 94%.
Great way to keep up with your travel plans in one place.
This is the best application I have found for keeping all my travel itineraries together in one place.
IPad support please!
love!!! but iPad support please!! Also some asthetic changes would be great. Especially to the flow of the itinerary. Remove the continuous flow of days and (Seperate the days more) and make day titles stand out more. Put the times to the left of the activity. Add a photo to the top instead of the background. Also a customizable checklist. But thank you so much for dark mode!! Great potential

But a tad overwhelming and a bit sluggish but very good overall!
Super App
The only thing I am missing with this app, I wish I could set up personal trip. If I’m going to visit a friend in Texas, driving my own car, I can’t properly plan the trip using the app. Other than that; I love it.

Great concept but unreliable and little support
Love what this app is supposed to do. Saves time and very convenient for preparing expenses on the go and a nice way to collect all your travel docs in one place. However the app is full of bugs, for instance the current version has lost the button which allows you to submit you expenses, which makes that function pointless. Support is also nonexistent. Great concept but poorly implemented and not much effort ongoing.

Don’t waste your time. Registration email went straight to Junk Mail (that should have warned me!). Sent a booking via email, 2 hours later still waiting for app to update. Have now trashed this app.
Don’t work
I pay for the subscription but the app has no connection to iTunes. I can’t add any new trips to the app. Very bad!!!

I Believe that Travelerbuddy is going to be one of the Best Travel Apps out there especially for Business. It just needs some more fine tuning “under the hood” and a tweak here and there, and they will Be
On their way to being The Best Travel app out there so far. Here’s why. They get Travel! The layout is superb for the “card” approach they use for your various itinerary categories, i.e train, shuttle, airlines, hotel etc. But, I did find that the card would not always reflect accurately the information that it was supposed to. Hence the need for some tweaking. I did find it Very Helpful however that they have Excellent Very Responsive Customer Service to rectify whatever issue that needs to be addressed. I Love the Fact of how the app has the capacity to tell especially international travelers what they will need for customs, vaccinations, etc. I don’t know of Any More out there that do that! So that aspect alone makes them fairly competitive in my opinion. There were some issues in their accurate interpreting of appropriate information that I sent over via email. For the most part it was accurate, but not all the way across the board. So, with this said you can see where they need some tweaking. But, overall my experience with the app and company has been very pleasing. Especially since there was an issue with the billing (I upgraded to the Biz Level) and to compensate for their challenges to that, they decided to give me a Whole Year Subscription for Free !! So, that Definitely made my day and then some :) And I have also had the astute pleasure too by corresponding directly with Juerg Founding Partner/CEO and Diana who is an Excellent CSR Department Head. My “Hats Off” to them both for their courteous efficient and very professional demeanor in their handling of my issues. So in conclusion as I said in the beginning, I Believe Travelerbuddy Will Be One if not THE Best Travel Apps Out There Moving Forward !! We just need to Expect the Best from them as they complete their tweaking. For once they do.....The SKY is the Limit for Them !! !! JohnNY Lamb aka The Believing BillionAire 87) Making The Empire State Building The Most Beautiful HOTEL in The World !! !! PS I Presently Continue to use TravelerBuddy for I BELIEVE in them and their Potential to be the VERY BEST Travel App Out There.........BAR NONE !! !! Toole Reise App mit Potential
Traveler Buddy ist tolle App zur Reiseplanung, insbesondere bei Vielreisenden eine sehr nützliche Hilfe. Die Airline- und Hotelbuchungen werden sehr zuverlässig automatisch erfasst (einfach die E-Mail weiterleiten) und die Daten werden automatisch hinzugefügt und sauber nach Reisen sortiert. Sollte eine E-Mail nicht erkannt werden, wird sie manuell Verarbeitet und TravelerBuddy versucht stets seine automatische Erkennung zu verbessern. Das finde ich super, weil so in Zukunft auch die persönlichen Hotels erkannt werden können. Die App sieht toll aus und ist sehr übersichtlich und gut zu bedienen.
Verbesserungspotential wäre beim automatischen Erinnern und Einchecken durch die App bei allen Airlines. Das würde einem ersparen, die Apps jeder Airline auf seinem iPhone aufzurufen und je nach Airline Vorgabe einem die besten Platzreservierungsmöglichkeiten geben. Die VISA Funktion konnte ich bisher noch nicht testen, aber das werde ich bei meiner nächsten außereuropäischen Reise testen.
Ich finde den Abo Preis gerechtfertigt, aber die Beschränkung auf 60 Travel Updates per E-Mail finde ich zu wenig. Das sollte ein Flat Angebot sein, wie man es bei einer Jahresgebühr auch erwarten würde.

Disappointing
I originally was impressed by TravelerBuddy because it was able to "read" an email confirmation from a B&B which none of the other travel organizer app such as Worldmate, Tripit or Kayak were able to. But it was the last time it was "great". Since, It has not been able to read/ record a car service I booked in London, my hertz car reservations for Manchester, etc. On car reservations, It only shows when to pick up the car, not when to return it. Kayak (free) apart from that B&B email had recorded every reservation I emailed it perfectly. This app at $12 is too expensive to be performing so poorly.

They spam you and make it terribly difficult to turn off
Not long after trying this app out and signing up for an account, you'll be spammed by the creator. They don't properly comply with CANSPAM in that they simply tell you at the bottom of the email that to opt out of the spam, "Log in to TravelerBuddy change notification settings". Well I did that, and I can't find a means to opt out anywhere.
Making matters worse, the UI is clunky and confusing. Virtually every feature requires you to subscribe. But given how spammy they are and sneaky at hiding any way to unsubscribe, I wouldn't give them a dime. Save yourself the time and find something better.
