Linking people
Love the app but it’s missing an option to link people (a couple or family group within a group of friends) where only one person per couple (say) pays

The amounts owed by various participants do not make sense, so I struggle to trust it unfortunately

Alternative to Splitwise
Used this for a group trip. It was okay, got the job done but also doesn’t do everything Splitwise does. Specially for couples who share cards/spending in a group. Would be nice to have the option to select that two people paid a bill. Makes it easier as well. Also, if it there was an option to switch currencies after the group has been created. All in all it definitely beats having the limitation of adding expense like Splitwise does.

Thanks for the kind words and the thoughtful feedback! The option to have multiple payers on one expense and to change the default currency after a group is created are both great ideas. We have passed them on to our product team. One tip in the meantime: you can already add each individual expense in a different currency and tricount will convert it automatically, so that might take some of the friction out of multi-currency trips! Very effecient app !
The app was simple but efficient, smart and stick correctly to travel habit. However, UXUI has some small inconvenient errors, but its totally can be by pass. If the app somehow can manage export a total report in pdf that would be great.
Feedback for improvement
I just had a suggestion: When I tap on someone name, i just wanted to see all his shares and expenses so that he can understand whtat happened to his account.
Underrated. Under-utilised.
I love the app to keep track of shared costs as well as various friends lunches where we take turns paying ie “shouting”/“going Dutch”.
I love that I can create a “tab”/tricount account and keep track of costs even if I don’t invite those friends or if some or all friends do not want to join.

Game changer
Great app to keep track of expenses at home, super straightforward design and useful tools, we love it!
Useless app
It doesn’t give details of what expenses are made by whom and what expenses you r a part of. Uh can’t export the data and so on. No insights nothing its just waste.

Need this for Apple Watch
The interface's aesthetic is cohesive and pretty, simple to use. I wish it was on Apple Watch, cuz I don't carry my phone that often.
Just a small suggestion
Hi Tricount Team! As a big fan of the app, I notice that credit card bank statements after a trip often differ slightly from the app's auto-converted amounts. Could you let us see both currencies directly on the main list and allow a quick shortcut (like sliding right) to edit the actual main currency spent without losing the original foreign amount?

Good UI, bad calculations
I did a sanity check with the initial expenses we had in our group, they were not correct!
Because we only had a few expenses I did it manually. I added two expenses and split it between our group members, someone else did the same with 2 other expenses. This one particular person should have a split $25 + $52 =$77 but the app was showing the person owing me around $96.32. I think the app was adding expenses owed to the other person and saying they owed that money to me. Completely wrong!
Don’t waste time on this, or regret it later when adding 20+ transactions and having to do a manual check at the end for your entire group

Great app
Love the app and works perfect for group trips. I would like to suggest that "parts" or "shares" mode where you could type something like 1.5 shares for one person and 1 share for another (and have the app calculate the amounts automatically).
