The wait times for zip zone have skyrocketed since my last review. The past 2 weeks have been 30-50 minute wait times to get picked up. So that’s not counting the commute and if there are other drivers. It’s taking over an hour to get to work and get home. I’ve contacted support and they can’t tell me anything. I can’t afford to fix my car so this is my only affordable option. If I could afford ubers twice a day I would just do that. I’ve been late to work so many times due to zip zone it’s just getting ridiculous. I can order an hour before I have to be to work and STILL be late. They need to fix these wait times asap. Because this isn’t “on demand” anymore. It’s just a bus with fewer seats.

App is fine, service is not.
I’ve been using ZipZone services for 2 years now because I’m broke and can’t afford to fix my car. The rides are only $2 so it’s affordable if they support your area. The app is nice and shows you where your driver is in real-time. It’s good it shows you because a solid 50% of the time, the driver is just sitting there for 15-20+ minutes. I get the cost is cheap but having drivers who simply refuse to work is unacceptable. I had one driver take an hour to finally move to get me. He sat in one spot for that whole hour. Support was not helpful either. They can call the drivers but refused to for this specific case.

Useless
Don’t make the same mistake I did and “buy” a pass through this site. No idea where it went or how to use it. But I eventually figured out the proper app to buy transit tickets is the GoApp.

Today was my first day utilizing Trinity metro. Both drivers I had today were great! They were on time and very friendly. I am so grateful to have this service available to me. Keep up the good work!
The GPS system is wack
I waited outside for 5 minutes when it stated the ride is 1 minutes away.. sometimes the vehicle wouldn’t be moving but it’s fine sometimes it’s not the app’s fault. Other than that it’s okay. You just gotta hope, if you’re in a rush, that the on demand is near your area or even present at all.
Excellent service
The only bad thing i have about this service is that they don’t operate near downtown fort worth, so i can barely use the app. I would have to uber where i need to go because they dont operate everywhere in the Trinity, but when i do it is very cost efficient and useful way of transportation.

Malik was very prompt and professional. I was able to get to my destination with no issues.

Even when I’m unable to reach a destination on my own, I can always rely on Trinity Metro On-Demand. It’s a fantastic app and an excellent transportation service. I recommend it to everyone, and I truly consider them like family.

The service is great, especially for the price. The only take back is you can’t get picked up at your door which means you have to walk to a location. This is hard if you disabled and haven’t been approved for your disability.

Metro on demand only- not a bus pass
If you are visiting the Fort Worth Metro area, make sure you get the GoPass app and not this app if you were planning to use this for public transit. This app is only for Metro on demand and the prices and descriptions of the products are identical to the GoPass app, but you cannot use this app to pay for bus fare or train fare. The day pass and week pass also auto renew, and you have to uncheck the box if you don’t want to continue to be charged. The app is also not show tickets or way to purchase anything even after you pay for the subscription and there is no way to refund or undo a transaction in the app. Also did not receive a receipt via email and the terms and conditions on the website return a 404 error.

App is terrible
The app is terrible as a rider, you can not get customer service help in a timely manner,, it can be days or weeks until they respond. I don’t like that they have an option for riders to pay cash for a ride in the van . Rideshares, should be paid through app, it is not safe for passengers or drivers when cash is in a rideshare vehicle

Today I was trying to get a ride to my home, put in the information… bam… “too many seats filled, try again in a couple minutes” tried again 12 minutes later same message… fix your app.
