Terrible

This app is atrocious. Out of all the ones the lenders use it is the only one that won’t connect inside houses constantly won’t load the photos. You can be at the property for over an hour just trying to get one picture.

Camera doesn’t work

Says if I continue to receive this error I should restart the app. Done that 20 times same thing still.

Poor Interface

Can’t delete photos taken with the app. Can’t upload photos from the phone. Can’t see the input box when typing a message to the support team. For such a simple product scope, this App falls short.

Does not work

App literally does not work. Calibrating signal over just doesn’t work, so I can’t use the camera, makes zero sense.

Doesn’t work

It won’t actually submit my claim. It takes the photo at random moments and then you have to back out to try to take the actual one on a second or third attempt. There’s no getting past taking the photo once you’ve finally gotten it taken. It just says that it is calibrating your location but it never finishes. I cannot actually submit a claim with this.

Treat your customers as scammers

Untrustworthy, requests unnecessary permissions and doesn’t let you continue if you have a developer phone.

Sad that have to deal with this resolve a dangerously recalled product.

A web app would have sufficed

The app mostly works, has a UI usability issue with regard to displaying photo directions 1.5 lines at a time, and had to attempt photo upload twice. Leaving the app and coming back switched the Reopen button to “Finish Inspection.” Upon tapping, it opens the Reopen rationale screen (workflow state+UI bug). This should have been a web app.

Location permission won’t work

I need this app to finish my recall yet there’s no way to allow location services to the app. Settings : Truepic app : zero way to give it permission.

App won’t update

Message in the app says update required, but when you go to the App Store it shows the latest version is installed. This app doesn’t work

Shady practices

For some inexplicable reason, the app will not work without precise location permission. It looks like they decided to earn an extra buck on the side by selling info to data brokers? Either that, or just plain incompetence. The app was required for a Weber grill brush recall. Adding one star to the review because the app does work within the mentioned limitations.

Intentional incompetence?

Makes me take a picture then repeatedly rejects it. Do I need studio lighting and an iPhone 16 Pro? Not worth it to get a replacement on a recalled Weber brush.

Easy inspection

Easy to take pictures and use to help with inspection of our house

Privacy nightmare from Weber Barbecues

No Weber, you cannot have permission to access my photos and location just to replace your faulty recalled barbecue brushes. This is not how to conduct a product recall.

Not a privacy focused

Requires unnecessary permissions - why does the picture app requires “precise location”?

Slow upload on wifi

App was taking several minutes then timing out when uploading a single image on wifi. Finally worked with much slower cellular data.

Doesn’t work

The app doesn’t do the one thing it’s designed to do and support is no help.

Full of trackers

Had to use this for a recall, awful app with lots of trackers. Just to collect your data in name of taking a picture

Doesn’t work

I am supposed to upload a photo for my Weber grill brush recall claim. However, the photo will not upload on this true pic app and keeps getting stuck. So frustrating and so many hoops to jump through.

Doesn’t work

Directed from a recall item for Weber. First page says to hit paste button but there isn’t a button.

Easy to Use

Process was simple to follow with no misleading questions
