not working-not a review

Hey there, I’m not able to log into account just after creating it. Even though password saved. Not sure what to do, can’t even delete the address just created. I really just like support, but don’t know how to get it.

The fact that it still crashes and when managing to launch, requires an account is an absolute no go

Makes no sense

Edit: thanks for the reply. To clarify, I can’t use the calendar without logging in. I don’t think an account is needed to put in my plans on a calendar

Keine Termine und leicht einen sitzen

Tuta Kalender muss ein großer Fan oder Verehrer von Karl Lagerfeld sein. Anders kann ich mir nicht erklären, dass ich jeden einzelnen Tag als Ansicht in meinem großen Widget auf dem Startbildschirm erhielt: heute keine Termine mit einer kleinen Zeichnung von einem Mann, der zurückgelehnt in einem Sessel saß und sich anscheinend ein Gläschen genehmigte. Dass ich aber tatsächlich teilweise 3, 4 oder auch 6 Termine im Kalender drin stehen hatte? Das wollte mir weder das Widget noch die App so recht verraten, denn auch Benachrichtigungen oder Erinnerungen erhielt ich keine.
Dasselbe übrigens auf meinem Android Smartphone und Android Tablet.
Kurzum: Jetzt habe ich wirklich keine Termine mehr und Dank meiner neu gewonnenen Freizeit am Tage nun öfter mal leicht einen sitzen.

Weiter so genau das was man benötigt. Cool wäre noch, wenn das icon auf dem iPhone das aktuelle Datum angezeigt.

Love it!

Fully functional and calendar subscriptions work great. It's very streamlined. I like the color schemes and how you can toggle between the agenda view (which is new to me!) and the other time frames. The subscription system is nice, it allows me to nest my time organization, with my tuta calendar being the most micro and detailed. I am guessing I'll adjust to the minimalist framework and start to relax a little. Really impressed with everything tuta has created.

I'm very thankful that I have a calendar alternative that isn't connected to Apple or Google. I was using a paper calendar, but the phone reminders were something I missed

Es ist eine super Kalender App. Mit viele Features, wovon aber viele leider ein Bezahltes Abo benötigen.
Ansonsten ist es eine sehr gute App auch für den Gebrauch in der Familie!!!

Would like to have the ability to see holidays marked

I understand that celebrated holidays may differ by country, but I would like to be able to select my country and have the major/bank holidays marked upon country selection. I’m also open to any other means of automarking holidays.

Thank you for your rating and feedback. You can find .ics holiday calendars for your country online. Just search for “ your country + public holidays .ics” or use official government or calendar sites. Once downloaded, import it into Tuta via web/desktop app (Calendars → three-dot menu → “Import calendar”). Your suggestion for automatic country-based holidays has been shared with our Calendar team.

Catch import from Apple calendar

I’d love to use this app, but I have too much data on my iOS calendar. If I could just import everything easily, I’d switch over completely, but I can’t see it a way to do that.

Beim Öffnen der App immer Agenda-Ansicht erzwungenermaßen

Beim Öffnen der App öffnet sich immer die Agenda-Ansicht des heutigen Tages. Die Tagesagenda sehe ich aber ja schon im Widget.
Ich wünsche mir, dass man einstellen kann in welcher Ansicht sich die App öffnet. Ich persönlich hätte gerne die Monatsansicht. Die muss ich immer erst mit zwei Klicks öffnen. Das macht die App für mich nur träge nutzbar.

Zero help

I really want this to be my solution! Tuta has so much going for it, in theory. But both this and the mail app CONSTANTLY crash, usually after only 30-60 seconds at most. And for some reason my calendar events won’t show without a connection, and seem to have to reload every time the app opens, which makes it very slow and sometimes completely and painfully useless. 😭😭😭 Time based things i need to be able to act on need to keep existing on my device when the power is out, ffs. I’d be happy to try to trouble shoot whatever this mess is, I’ve tried to find any settings that might be in the way, but I cant fond anything, and they only provide support for the paid level. Which, I mean, I get valuing your time, but why would I decide to pay you when my experience of trying out the service is that it straight up frequently does not work? 😩 I have no basis upon which to place hope that it will work after upgrading. And i know I’m not the only one struggling - there is a reddit forum that shows more ios users reporting constant crashing, but i don’t have an account so i can’t read the replies, only the complaints.

Works great with one hiccup

I really enjoy using this calendar an app. There are many options for customizing appointment types, reminders, repeating appointments, etc. easy to use and pretty intuitive.
The big issue that I have run into is that is you have both the calendar and the email app on one device, you get double the reminders. The calendar app sends the reminder and the email app also sends a separate reminder for the same appointment. The repeat reminders make things a little confusing and cause a lot of notification traffic on my devises.
Otherwise I live using!

i love that it is private and secure and i am moving out of the us big tech sphere.... but there is not a single pre loaded holiday setup for this?? not eu holidays, not us holidays, nothing? you meant to tell me i have to put in every single holiday manually? id like a response, thanks.

Thanks for your feedback! Tuta Calendar doesn’t include preloaded holidays, but you can import a public holiday calendar via an .ics file. We’ll also consider adding built-in holiday calendars in the future. We appreciate your suggestion and input!

Love the privacy and like the usability, needs some tweaks and more customizability.

I really like Tuta!! I made the switch recently from Apple Calendar and Google. Love that it updates on all my devices while remaining private and secure. The calendar app could use some UI changes for more customizability. A setting for default appointment length would be great. Almost all my appointments are 1 hr long, but the default is 30 minutes. This gets a bit annoying. I would also like the option to color code an appointment on the same calendar. As of right now, I’d have to use a second calendar to get a different color for an appointment. Otherwise, love the app and am waiting on tender hooks for new UI/UX updates. Thanks all!

Mit Tuta Calendar habe ich richtig gute Erfahrungen gemacht und bin total zufrieden. Mir gefällt besonders, wie sehr sie auf den Schutz der Privatsphäre achten – das gibt mir ein echt gutes Gefühl. Genau deshalb nutze ich die App so gern.
