The login process is complicated and error prone. You need a second app just to login to the main app (that’s right, in a brilliant design decision indicative of many other UBS processes, you need two apps!).
Unfortunately the two apps seem to struggle to work together and approximately half the time you just get the useless message, “Something went wrong. Please try again later.”
This can prevent you from confirming transactions making for frustrating and embarrassing situations.
There are *six* year old reviews complaining about the same issues, so you can see how responsive and innovative UBS is.

App never opens
Whenever I try to login into this app, I always receive an error message saying I can’t access the app and should try after some time. If I try multiple time my account gets blocked for a few hours. Most frustrating experience!

And most secure and user friendly, straightforward banking apps I ever used. Congratulations to the developers!

Horrible UI/UX
Possibly the most poorly built banking app I have encountered. All the most important information and functions (eg IBAN, Transfers) are a pain to do. This is a 300 year old wooden boat in an ocean with Virginia class submarines in terms of apps.
