100 % of the time the bus is delayed especially capmetro austin so the tracking doesn’t work for nothing

They got rid of the bus ETA timer
Because they got rid of the ETA tracker for busses, now you can’t tell if it got there early and you missed it, or if it’s not in service at all.

Stole my funds
The app forced me to create an account today to continue using the app, so I did. I had close to $30 pre-loaded on my account and it never once required a log-in. As soon as I create my account though? “No money or passes for ‘…’”. Excuse me? Immediate chargeback because this is outrageous. Don’t play with people’s money.

Honestly this pass is amazing it’s not hard to do at all and the app helps you if you’re confused or anything. I totally recommend getting this if you take the bus!
Faulty App
My IOS software is sufficient. There is indeed an issue with the login and create new user functionality. Any mention on other comments about their IOS software is irrelevant as it is now shown it is not an IOS software issue. Contacting the transit department about this is useless as they are not the developers of this app. The only solution is to purchase a card and delete the UMO app if it isn’t working for you. Hopefully the developers will see a need to fix this bug for users who regularly take public transit.

I accidentally put money on a different city bus company in a state i do not live in & I am not able to transfer money back to the bus routes in my district
Issues with the app
I’ve been purchasing the 30 day pass for over a year now and have rarely had any issues that I have not been able to fix in under an hour. Though recently it has been telling me that when I try to sign in it says that an internal server has occured. From what I understand it is a problem within the system but everyone else I’ve asked that also uses the app has not had this problem.

Worst trip planner
If your trip uses more than 1 bus snd the buses don’t conveniently meet up in a timely manner Umo will tell you to take the shorter ride and then walk the difficult long part instead of suggesting you take a shorter ride and walk to catch the bus which is going to take you most of the way

A lousy app
Can’t shut off next stop alerts
Won’t let me buy a fare.
This app isn’t allowing me to add money like it did before. Same account same payment all of a sudden a week ago it just stopped working.
Times off and resets every time you leave the app.
I am updating my review as they like to lie on the app platform about all the bad reviews as it’s some type of monopoly with these companies.. anyways, the app likes to crash, all the time now.. I can look up a bus and then click out of the app to do something else only to have it refreshing EVERY TIME! My phone was updated so it’s not that, it’s useless for keeping track of your bus when the app refreshes so often and then it sends my landing zone for the map on the app downtown though all my favourited stops are nowhere near there… horrible app we are all now FORCED to use for public transport.

It’s VERY annoying that this app resets nearly every time I set my stop and then check a different app. It often returns me to the home page and I have to go through finding my bus stop and selecting the route again.. also not that long ago this app have under a 2 star total rating and now it’s back at almost 5? That seems odd and off.. this app has had a number of issues. Also the times being off like on several occasions I’m walking to my stop and it says I have over 5/6 minutes and yet I watch the bus DRIVE BY. It’s not acceptable for a transit app to be this off with its times.

No tech support
App would give an error message every time I tried to put money onto it.
Has no customer service line, and just directs you to the transit authority. I called my bus service four times asking for help, but when the app doesn’t work as intended, they have no way of fixing that. I redownloaded the app eventually and it worked after that, but the fact that there is no troubleshooting team at all is absurd.
