About

Whether you are quitting drinking for good, taking a month off, or just want to drink less than you do now, Unbottle gives you a plan that fits, a count you can trust, and a straight answer the morning after. WORKS FOR HOW YOU ACTUALLY DRINK Logging a drink takes one tap. Pick the kind, size and strength and it is converted into standard drinks for you, so a pint of strong beer and a large glass of wine finally add up honestly. Then choose the path that fits: stop now, step down to a quit date, or stay under a weekly limit with no quit date at all. Each is a real mode with its own numbers, not a quit-forever app with the corners filed off. BUILT ON WHAT THE RESEARCH SAYS WORKS - Setup uses AUDIT-C, the World Health Organization's alcohol screening questions, to recommend a goal and to catch the case that matters most. Withdrawal from heavy daily drinking can be medically dangerous, so where your answers point that way, Unbottle asks you to see a doctor before you stop rather than cheering you on. - Self-monitoring does most of the work. In one of the largest randomized trials of an alcohol app, simply logging drinks accounted for most of the use and explained most of the effect, which is why logging here is one tap and every past day stays editable. - A day you drank is recorded as exactly that. Relapse research shows shame after a lapse is what turns it into a full relapse, so your total dry days and your longest run are never taken away, and nothing here scolds you. - Craving SOS is one tap from the home screen and never behind a paywall: a three-minute delay timer, paced breathing, and your own reasons read back to you. - The notification program is built for the first days, when it is hardest: a run-up before your quit date, close support through the first 72 hours, then a cadence that eases off. - Every milestone on the health recovery timeline links to its published source, including the NIAAA, the NHS and the National Cancer Institute. No source, no claim. THE MORNING AFTER Is there still alcohol in me? Unbottle answers with a deliberately pessimistic estimate built on the standard Widmark model. It assumes everything you drank arrived at once, at your last drink, so it never flatters you. It reports no legal limit and no safe figure, and it says plainly that only time makes you sober. Never use it to decide whether you can drive. FREE, FOREVER One-tap drink logging in standard drinks. A dry-day counter, money kept and calories avoided. A calendar you can correct for any day. The morning-after estimator, in full. Craving SOS. A morning pledge and an evening check-in. Export everything as CSV or JSON, or delete all of it, whenever you decide. UNBOTTLE PRO The tailored notification program. The sourced health recovery timeline. More craving tools, including urge surfing and extra breathing patterns. A taper plan whose daily limit steps down to the quit day you chose. Your check-in history, read in context. NO ACCOUNT, NO SIGN-UP Nothing to sign up for, and nothing to sign in to. Your history sits under an anonymous ID rather than an email address, so it survives a new phone without anyone knowing whose it is. SUBSCRIPTION Unbottle Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Annual costs $39.99 per year after a 7-day free trial. Monthly costs $6.99 per month. Lifetime is a single purchase of $59.99 with nothing to renew. A subscription renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings; removing the app does not cancel it. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. What's New in Unbottle

2.0.3

September 14, 2026

Version 2.0 rebuilds the home screen around the reason you opened the app. THE COUNTER IS THE PAGE Your dry-day count now sits in the middle of the screen at full size, with what you have logged today in standard drinks directly beneath it and the date you have been counting from below that. One look, three facts, and nothing to scroll on a standard phone. WHAT NOT DRINKING HAS BOUGHT YOU Money saved and drinks avoided are two summary tiles at a glance. Your next health milestone has moved onto the home screen as well, so what your body is doing about all this is in front of you instead of a tab away. THE DAY'S TWO RITUALS, IN ONE CARD The morning pledge and the evening check-in now share one card at the foot of the page. Each is a single tap, and each shows you the answer you already gave. The check-in itself has been rebuilt: how the day went and how hard the cravings were, five choices across, done in seconds. LOG, CRAVING SOS AND SLIP ARE ALWAYS THERE The three things you reach for in the moment are pinned to the bottom of the screen and stay there while the page scrolls underneath. Craving SOS is still one tap and still free, and a day you drank still leaves your total dry days and your longest run exactly where they were. A NEW LOOK Unbottle has a page color of its own now, carried through the launch screen and setup, and every card is built from the system's own glass materials. It holds together in light and dark, and at the largest accessibility text sizes. Thank you for using Unbottle.
