Awful company
UHC is terrible. They exist to extract money from us, and we’d be better off with anything else. Wish I had a choice. The website isn’t better per se, but you can do more there. It’s like they designed everything to be intentionally confusing.

I love you guys. I’m 68 years old and retired. The service and caring from the customer service agents that pick my call up have just been so wonderful.
I did customer service worked for 40 years and the customers always right you have to shake your head yes and you can’t really tell them what you’re thinking.
EVERYONE that I have spoken to has been professional, had an uplifting voice, explained all my questions answered all my questions. And I don’t mean just a few times I mean every time I have called customer service. All of them are just so wonderful. Yes I know that’s their job and that is what they are supposed to do, but if you’ve never worked customer service, you have no clue how hard that can be at times.
I truly hope that upper management gets to see this message and has the decency to say thank you because they’re making you look really good.
I am so grateful for my UnitedHealthCare insurance. I live on Social Security and I get squat and that’s just part of the reason I’m so grateful because my coverage covers everything and I can actually afford the co-pay cost which still blows my mind.

Extremely long hold
The AI could not hear me say Endodonist when I was prompted to say it 4 times it then “transferred” me to speak to a human agent which has not answered or taken my call for over 45 minutes

Insurance co-pays should be a lot lower than they are deductible are too high should realize that we live on fixed incomes we can’t afford to need doctors care

My last few interactions with advocates for United Healthcare have not been good at all. I have been given wrong information which I acted on and was not delivered forms I was promised. I had a dental emergency. Was told by 2 advocates care would be covered. After the first I had treatment. Now am
told it isn’t covered and I have to pay the cost out of pocket. Was told I would be sent forms to appeal as I don’t have a working printer to print from your website. Was just told I have to request them again. I can’t believe this is the level of service you expect or that I should have to accept. More than disappointing.

Terrible to deal with
I have had nothing but problems with United Health Care
I barely use the coverage but when I do, nothing is covered without a hassle. They even canceled me completely with no notice and no reason. I had to call HR to have it reinstated. I wish I could pick my own.

The newest app update has render the lock feature completely useless and you have to do it on the website instead within the app because it’s nowhere to be found.

I wish I could access my vision plan that is by United Healthcare but it’s only for the medical plans.

The choose of items for online shopping is terrible with Walmart as the vendor. You can find decent products shopping at the Walmart website, but that defeats the purpose and being given $51 to spend.
Easy to navigate
The UHC app has really improved over the past couple of years. I appreciate having access to features that avoid the need for a phone call.
