Halsey Minor would be ashamed
I began to use Uphold from its early days. It was created by Halsey Minor as Bitreserve before the rebranding.
In its early days it was a joy to use, and I have fond memories of that time.
I stopped using it and other platforms. If I remember correctly o closed my account. Nothing untoward - just life moving on.
After some years I tried to create a new account. I was declined. I asked why. I was informed that uphold had taken the decision in order to protect its users. No further explanation was given.
Since then I have used other well-known platforms without issue. I have no criminal record, no debts, and pay my taxes.
The bots that now do customer support might need an upgrade. It’s the 21st century and uphold should be able to know the difference between good and bad actors.

The costumer service is absolutely ancient and terrible. Good luck waiting on them to get back to you with high value transactions in the line!

Great customer service experience
So I had unfortunately had an issue where my phone had given out on me and I had lost all access to my account. I was able to reach out to support where they were able to help me reset my two factor authenticator and helping me gain access back to my account I’ve never felt more secure and I want to take the time to really point out how secure this app is versus other platforms 100% guaranteed to satisfaction after today’s experience I will not use any other platform other than upload. Extremely bad
Stay far away from uphold. They canceled my account and froze my $33,000. Gave no reason for this action . I can not withdraw my money and have been given zero time frame when I can get my money back. Absolutely amazed how they are allowed to operate. Stay far away !!!!!
Update from 1 star to 4 stars.
After a month of waiting I was finally verified and able to withdrawal my funds. Since then I have had a few transactions not go through.
Need to verify myself again and I have no choice but to submit a selfie and of course they want access to my microphone.
They seem to make it difficult in order to steal your funds. Stay away.
Security is fine but when you change your security levels after you get funds from your victims you are garbage.
