Seems like a scam
Pleased with App
I hope it works like they say
Easy
Beware.
I came across this app through a random App Store ad and decided to check it out, expecting it might be a scam. I know Apple vets apps before listing them, but what I found still raised red flags.
For one, all the reviews are 5 stars, and many written ones show signs of being AI-generated (overly polished phrasing, very empty or generic praise, a weird mix of casual tone and unnatural formality, etc). For an app that handles sensitive personal data, this lack of authentic, verifiable feedback is concerning.
I looked into iVisa—the service this app is based on—and while it seems to be a legit company, it’s also heavily overpriced compared to renewing through the US government. The Trustpilot reviews are also a bit fishy, but I’ll have to set aside my cynicism for a second because I know Trustpilot is transparent.
The app is well-designed—it doesn’t look like a scam—but the Trustpilot badge on the home screen is weird. It’s either talking about a page for “FastPassport” (which doesn’t exist on TP), or is using the reviews for iVisa (which is a bit misleading, not to mention the rating is outdated).
TL;DR:
Skip this app and renew your passport directly through the official State Department site. It’s cheaper, safe, and not nearly as complicated as third-party services suggest. If you need your passport renewed fast, look for government-backed options. Convenience is not worth the risk to your personal information.
To the developers:
This isn’t meant as a hostile review (hence the 4 stars, not 1). If you can provide transparent proof of verified customer satisfaction, I’ll happily update or retract my concerns (though I’ll leave the original wording visible). Until then, I hope this review remains up and can help people make safe decisions.

Best way to get my U.S. Passport renewed!
Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to renew their passport without dealing with slow, complicated government bureaucracy.
