Zero customer support
Every time I run a payment from this app on a Saturday, it decides a random amount to reward me instead of the amount I type in. I have called repeatedly and this company has provided absolutely no answers for me. They say they don’t know what’s wrong with it and they consider my case closed.
Since the last upgrade the system has a major programming issue
Apparently we are the only company to notice this problem. please look at your sales by product category report to see the error. where there should be space between words in the description, now has %20. And also is states all products not in database. We have been talking to them for a month about this program error. They are in no rush to fix it because i guess we are the only ones to notice (per Drew) and asked them to fix it

Good until update 2.1.36
The latest update to the dashboard does not show any transaction detail other than credit card activity. Cash transactions can only be viewed online making reconciliation tedious. It was better before the update. Hopefully they will fix this or we will have to use a different app. We are resellers and our clients count on us to provide useful and affordable applications. All transaction data must be viewable and accounted for within the app.

Another rip off company
EMS/USAePay has turned into a bigger ripoff company than Square ever was. USAePay forced us to refund 2 charges made to us by another one of our businesses. But guess what—they pocketed the fees amounting to over $500.00 and have refused to return the funds. Do NOT think EMS is a good deal like we did. Somewhere, somehow they will find a way to scam you, just as Square did to us a few years ago.

Needs Improvement
I’ve been a user since my first batch deposited on 1/5/2015. Since that first batch, I have processed $240,417.97 using EMS+. I have four different readers at four different registers in my business and for the most part, I love their system. All four readers communicate very well with each other. I wish the app developer would integrate a few features that I really need for my business. The most important feature I need is for it to display how much my bartenders have made in credit card tips at the end of the shift. You would think it would be quite simple to add that but they have refused to do it saying that nobody else has requested that feature. I find that hard to believe unless there are no other bars or restaurants with tipped employees using their system. Another feature I would like to see is if they could make the batch totals available at the end of the shift and not reset them at midnight. Seems like common sense to me but I guess until then I’ll keep using the reminder feature on my phone so I can write down the batch totals from my registers just before midnight then I can add that to the total C/C sales at the end of the shift.

Great features
This app accommodates several different types of payment options and utilizes only one screen and a final notification screen for its quick sale option - very useful. Inventory/customer database feature is useful to manage from mobile device instead of being restricted to the desktop. Looking forward to updates!
