One of The Worst Apps I’ve Ever Used
This app is almost impossible to use.
After spending $100+ on a camera to birdwatch, they then ask you to pay a MONTHLY PREMIUM for AI slop and the ability to have any storage for videos without having to daily remove them.
I’m sure many others would also find to discover this if they could even open the app in the first place.
The laggy, slow, almost impossible to navigate app has no sort of clear way to get help either besides an AI chatbot, so good luck trying to change this!
You are able to share your “nest” with others, but they can’t do anything besides watch the videos. Once your storage is filled (it takes about 1 morning depending on your area and the bird amount), they are unable to remove videos except for me, which makes it hard as someone who infrequently checks the app.
This app is a miserable experience to avoid if you can help it.

Wanted to Love
This app along with the device software/hardware are poorly done. Connectivity is spotty at best. There are additional charges for storage as well as the AI identify option, but the birds are not even correctly identified. Buffers constantly or won’t load live videos at all. Very poorly done.
Fatal bug. Please fix!
When you delete a single photo or video the screen goes black and the app never recovers. This has happened to me at least three times. The only way to recover is to delete the app and re-establish yourself as a user. Very frustrating.

Doesn’t work
Frequently stops recording & taking pictures, though everything seems connected. When it does work, the quality of photos and videos are great. The AI identification is often inaccurate. Just wish I could use it. It’s been down for a week now.

Inaccuracies Galore
Aside from the clunky interface, this app is wildly inaccurate when it comes to bird spotting. 99% of my feeder visits have been House Sparrows yet it’s clocked everything from a Red Billed Tropicbird to a White Tailed Ptarmigan. There is also no easy way to delete photos and videos. They have to be done individually. Hopefully they fix the app cause it’s BAD.

Doesn’t work
All of the videos we watched and all of our Google searches state that we can connect it wirelessly. That is not the case with this app. I will be returning this feeder and purchasing a different brand.
Worst bird app
The app constantly freezes. The camera it self has no night vision , can zoom in our out . For such a expensive bird house you would think their be more features
Great upgrade
Love the new app, the developer has made a lot of progress. Especially pair with new model G1 pro, the app can be used more smooth and interested.
Headache
I can hardly stand to use the app with the unnecessary flashing banner. Turn it off, or shrink it and slow it down.
Can’t use it
They insist I use a password on my network access point where I would be connected to the device. It’s not listed as a requirement anywhere in or on the packaging. If I could give them zero stars I would!
For those who have intermittent offline or glitching video it may be that the device is too far away from their access point. I’m a retired IT Professional.

Poor user experience/ security concerns
Downloaded the app. Followed install instructions. Received link to site flagged by Google and Apple as non-secure and possible threat of spoofing. Not good.
Horrible app / camera
The camera is always saying offline when I try looking at it. It won’t identify a bird, but instead will identify people as birds. I installed this 3 days ago and as of today when I look at it, it will just have a black screen (when it finally loads) and says ‘session timed out’ after about 30 seconds.

App needs work
The app is horribly slow. Times out. When you try to push “ok” it does nothing. This app would be perfect if it was rewritten.
Terrible
It rarely works properly. First of all, it’s always going offline. Second, the bird identification is horribly wrong. Third, the camera always glitches when there’s a bird and you can’t watch it. Fourth, when you click discovery, sometimes it will spin and spin and never load or just not work at all. Don’t waste your time with this app.

Ugh
So frustrating. App won’t go through with updates even when deleted and redownloaded. Finally updates after loading and signing in on another phone and now it just spins and spins and doesn’t connect. Full battery and high connection. Would not recommend. There are many other options to choose from - try one of them. Placing this review on Amazon as well.
