Consistently stuck on opening loading page.
Not a popular app
It seems there is not enough drive in this app to reach any sales. I’m in the second largest city in this state yet there are only two people in the community selling things and it seems that the posts were over a year old.

The app takes forever to load photos and information, lately.

Steals your information and sells it to online marketers, you will get Scam/Spam calls and emails.
Asks for your ID to make an account then you need to join community’s and they have admins who ask for your ID, facebook, and phone number to verify, this whole app is sketchy and I would not recommend.

Too many scammers too many no-shows doesn’t even deserve a one star might as well just close this app
Can no longer use
I have been using this app since 2015. All of a sudden this week, I’m unable to message or comment on anything including my own items. I tried to use the in app help section to no success. It’s all basic function questions. To my knowledge I haven’t been kicked out of a community. And if I was I was I not notified in any way nor have I broken any rules. So the app is completely useless to me now. I can see but not interact.

Please fix notifications!
Just lost another sale due to notifications not coming through. I've tried turning them off and back on numerous times. Not sure what else I can do.
I used to prefer VS to FB for selling, but between the notification issue & the weird categories, it's getting to be a waste of time. The categories wouldn't be so much of an issue if we didn't have an admin that always has a problem with what you end up going with.

Full of Scammers and Waste of Time
This platform is beyond annoying with countless scammers. 5 per day at the very least. Deleted my profile and moving onto another platform.
Glitchy
I used to love this app but the ads make it glitchy. Things take forever to load, it crashes and freezes all the time, even when it’s updated, and at times while things are loading there’s a strobe like flicker.
I get that ad support is important, but it’s almost impossible to use the app on mobile devices the way that it is for more than a few minutes.

Messages locked
I cannot respond to people interested in my items as I am locked out of sending messages
Nothing but fraud messages
The only messages I get are fraud!!!!
Notifications don’t work and scammers
Even with settings set for email and push notifications, never get any it really makes it difficult because you have to get in the app multiple times to verify if you have a message. Also a lot of scammers. Beware of messages asking for info to make a money transfer. They saying they out of town but wants to pay you right away then sends you a link and if you click it you are screwed. Meet in public places and ask for cash only.

Not a Great platform
I have been using Varage sale for over 10 years now, it used to be a one of kind of a platform for the longest time , but off late we have a ton of members who are scamming people I u stand they are inactive accounts and there is nothing much that can be done ! But it’s Frustrating act for those who want to use the platform to buy and sell items.

Complete waste of time
I’ve had my items on here for months, and no sales. Varage sale was a complete waste of time, I would give zero stars if I could.

This has been an excellent app but recent scammers are exhausting. Unfortunate not more security measures in place.
fake account accounts
Unfortunately, this past year varagesale is not doing a good job getting rid of fake accounts. People who request e-transfers and they’re just trying to scam you need to be gone.

Error Messages
I keep getting an error message that says to ‘try again later’. Very frustrating and time consuming when there may not be a spare moment.
Scams
Way too many scammers lately. All the messages I get (2 times a week at least) are scams.
