Hi

thanks to Quebec for making it easy to now go into stores and eat out with this!!! it functions as it should and is simple

Work well

Latest version finally add connection to the wallet.

Not usable for non Quebec citizens

Downloaded this to use while visiting Montreal because it has become a requirement but as a foreigner, the app does not scan my vaccine card nor can I enter my health insurance information.

10/10

This app bumps

Works ok

Easy enough to use, but the fact that it jumps your brightness to 100% once after each app restart the first time you open your proof of vaccination is annoying. Either drop the brightness change or switch it back after exiting the QR code screen.

Terrible design

It should automatically download the QR code when it sends you to the website. Instead you have to print it out and then scan it? Silly.

Doesn’t work

App freezes and doesn’t work.

Perfect passport app

Super easy to provision. Thank you Quebec and Canada for serving your citizens with duty and consideration. This app reflects the power of science to solve our problems.

Invasion of privacy potential

Proven over and over, app developers have ways around Apple’s privacy settings. What is the need for this app if I can just carry the paper barcode? Laminated paper works just fine.

Response from developer

Hello Kyle, Access to the camera is required to read the QR codes of the proof of vaccination, or access to the photo gallery to import the image of the proof of vaccination. Rest assured, your personal information is protected. When you save a proof of vaccination in VaxiCode, it is stored in an encrypted way. VaxiCode does not communicate with the Internet and the proof never leaves the application, which acts as a secure wallet. As stated in our policy, we only collect the following information: - Last name and first name - Date of birth - List of vaccines administered - Vaccination dates - Dates of blood collection - Last positive result for COVID-19. The information you provide in this application remains your property and does not leave the internal storage of your smartphone.
