About
VELRO books intercity rides between Kabul, Parwan and Ghorband.
You name the price. Choose the station you are leaving from, where you are going, the day and the hour, and what you want to pay. Drivers answer with their own offers, and you choose one. The fare is agreed before anyone gets in the car.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Ask for a ride from a real station to a real destination, today or on a later day, with a return if you need one.
• Compare offers side by side: each driver's price, rating and number of trips, and the car and its plate.
• Keep your booking on your phone: your boarding code, your driver's name and photo, the car, and a button to call.
• Watch the road: the route on the map and, once your driver is on the way, the car on it. When you board, the whole screen becomes the ride map, with warnings about the road ahead.
• Get help fast: emergency numbers you can call without internet, your trip details sent by SMS to someone you trust, and a report straight to VELRO.
• Use the app in Dari, Pashto or English, and switch at any time.
HOW IT WORKS
Your phone number is your account: you sign in with a one-time code, with no password. You pay the driver in cash; there are no payments in the app. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time (Account → Delete account).
WHERE
VELRO serves Kabul, Parwan and Ghorband. A ride can only be requested from inside this area.

What's New in VELRO Ride
1.0.1
September 24, 2026
What's new in 1.0.1 • Start from where you are. VELRO finds your district and the station nearest to you, and you can travel from there with one tap. • Say what the place is called. Your driver sees the village you are walking in from, and the next passenger there can pick the same name. Names of houses and people are never kept. • A "Where to?" bar on the home screen, the places near you and your recent starting points, so asking for a ride takes fewer steps.
