Connection problems

Every time I’ve tried to use this app I scan the code but it never seems to have internet connection. Never had this issue with lime or bird.

Privacy

Read the privacy policy, people. FFS.

E-bike

Easy to set up and made getting around so much easier

Zero rides

They never leave rides where you dropped them off. I constantly have to walk to work because one week there will be rides everywhere, next week there wont be a ride for 2 miles

Awful and unsafe

I feel bad for you and your city if you get Veo. they are completely unreliable and will just stop in a “no ride zone” yet the app doesn’t provide warning. They state that “bike lanes are the best lanes” yet have restricted most of the safer bike lanes. Completely unsafe and not reliable.

Awesome experience

Overall good

Overall good but extremely slow at muscle beach ant it would be great to get a push notification before the pass expires.

Extremely exploitative.

If you look at how many minutes they charge you, they always round up or add an extra minute secretly. That isn’t right. I wish I could post screenshots here. This app will literally have you pay for 30 minutes of ride time, but if you ride for 5 minutes and 50 seconds they’ll push it 7 minutes EVERY TIME. And they won’t refund you!

Doing the math: 6 minute rides x 5 times = 30 minutes! I get 5 rides for 30 minutes.

What they’re doing is increasing it so that the app reads as:
7 minute rides x 4 times= 28 minutes and they’ll upcharge you the extra 2 minutes you go over— even though I purchased a full 30 minutes and got 3-5 minutes taken away.

Extremely unprofessional and annoying. Will be deleting the app if this doesn’t change.

Satisfecho

Muy buen servicio y respetan las leyes de el área y comprendo eso

Ebiked

Ebikes are never where they are located on the map. They also need to add a phone holder or basket for your things when riding.

I could get an uber for this price!

40 cents a minute? Two of us rode around three blocks or so and it was $8.50!? Who is going to do that? Who I say!

Bike half broken

The pedals do not engage.

Very good...

Tourists BEWARE! Dead battery cost me $$$?

The battery died near Coors Stadium. Couldn’t park it there because of a city ordinance. Pushed the pos to where 5 other VEOs were parked and it still wouldn’t let me end the ride. Tried to push it further but the breaks were locked up or something because it was NOT like pushing a normal bike. I submitted all the proper stuff via the app. At one point it gave me the take photo screen so I thought I was finally done. There were several other bikes parked in the same spot. I get a message 15 minutes later that I’ve received an “idle fee”. And it continued to charge me. My group and I went back again to try to end it again and all the bikes had been picked up. So I got charged way too much because it had a dead battery or something wrong with it mechanically. Put a big dent in my day. Rip off, vacation interrupted, and wasted time.

Safety hazard

It will take the power away from the bicycle when you are near the border of an area you cannot ride, which is super sketchy, especially in intersections. And you can be in an area where you’re allowed to ride like in Bike lanes, but it will still take away your power if you are close to the border. It was extremely frustrating.

VEO KEPT CHARGING ME UNTIL I HAD TO BLOCK MY CARD WARNING TO ANYONE CONSIDERING USING VEO: BE VERY

I had an extremely unacceptable experience with VEO.

I stopped using the electric scooter and left it exactly where I found it. I immediately tried to end the ride through the app, but the app would not allow me to properly end the ride.

What happened next was unacceptable: VEO continued charging me repeatedly, over and over, even though I was no longer using the scooter. The charges kept accumulating while the scooter was already left behind.

I contacted VEO Support because I was trying to stop the ride and the charges, but the charges continued. I eventually had to contact my bank and block my card simply to prevent VEO from continuing to charge me.

Think about that: I had to block my own bank card because I could not get VEO’s system to stop charging me.

And now, instead of taking responsibility and investigating what happened, VEO is refusing to refund the additional charges and is pointing to the fact that the scooter was in a restricted area.

THAT DOES NOT ADDRESS THE PROBLEM.

I am NOT disputing the time I actually used the scooter. I am disputing the charges that continued AFTER I STOPPED USING IT, AFTER I LEFT IT WHERE I FOUND IT, AND AFTER I ATTEMPTED TO END THE RIDE.

A customer should never have to worry that an app will continue charging their card indefinitely because the ride cannot be properly ended.

Even worse, I reported the problem while it was happening, and I still ended up having to protect myself by blocking my card.

This is not the level of service I expect from a company charging customers for its service.

VEO needs to take responsibility for what happened, review the ride and support records, and refund the charges that accumulated after I stopped using the scooter.

Until VEO fixes these issues, I strongly recommend that people think twice before using this service and carefully monitor their card charges.

⭐ 1/5 — TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. REPEATED CHARGES, A RIDE I COULD NOT PROPERLY END, AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT THAT DID NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM.

Customers should NOT have to call their bank and block their cards just to make the charges stop.

Cleveland Ohio Rocks

Loved this it was so fun and it’s way more affordable than you think it would be!

Signing up

In signing up, it would not let me sign up for the Free EBT and it would not allow me to get the new user referral code. You said I was already a user. I’ve never used it before.

Cool kinda

Family.. you need to add a way to add family members to the account. The group ride is cool but only when you are all together. Add a way to put other people on your account..

Doesn’t work

Used this in Denver for the first time, picked up a bike in a designated parking area. Immediately it didn’t work despite having full battery, it told me I was in a no drive zone even though there were people all around on the same vehicles. It wouldn’t let me even end the ride despite not having gone anywhere. Telling me that I was not in a proper parking place, even though I HADNT LEFT THE PICKUP LOCATION which had a sign for designated parking. Very poor experience. I even reported this to try and get it to and and nothing happened. Couldn’t pause it or anything. Had to look up a number to call and call them to finally get the ride to end after 12 minutes of trying. Whole situation made absolutely no sense.
