I am still waiting on the app to finish downloading

Errors

When I try to login on WiFi or cellular OR try to buy a ticket on cellular, I get an SDK_200 error

Impossible to update/change passwords

I downloaded the app, because i have an existing account and can’t remember my password, it forced me to leave the app, go to a different site, and then, when i return the app, i get nothing but errors codes. No matter how many times i reset the password or delete the app and start over. It’s been like this since at least February 2024.

Total App Fail

We were ready to buy tickets to the airport from Union Station. Total mess of a buying experience then at the very end it says you need some special RTD Ride-a-card to be able to buy tickets. So we’ll take Lyft instead.

Worked perfectly!

Easy to pay, easy to use, planned each ride perfectly! Great!

FAQ

What does the RTD MyRide app do?

The RTD MyRide app is a mobile ticketing application that allows users to purchase and store tickets and passes for public transit. You can add funds to your account, and then use a mobile barcode to scan and board buses and trains. It also offers features like fare capping to ensure you always get the best value.

How does fare capping work in the app?

Fare capping automatically converts your purchases to the best value pass. For example, if you buy multiple 3-Hour passes within a certain period, the system will recognize this and automatically upgrade you to a Day or Monthly pass, ensuring you never pay more than the maximum fare for that period.

Is the RTD MyRide app free to use?

The app itself is free to download and use. However, you will need to purchase tickets and passes through the app to ride public transit. These purchases are made within the app, and the cost will vary depending on the type of fare product you select.

What devices is RTD MyRide compatible with?

While specific operating system versions are not detailed in the description, the app is designed for mobile devices. Users can manage their accounts online as well, suggesting broad accessibility. It's recommended to check your device's app store for specific compatibility requirements.

Can I use this app if I don't have a smartphone?

The primary function of the app involves using a mobile barcode to board transit. While you can access your account and manage tokens online, the direct scanning and riding feature requires a smartphone. The app also mentions an improved MyRide smart card for friends or family, which could be an alternative for those without smartphones.
