Great but…

I like that there’s different sections for concepts you want to master like Vocab or grammar. You can even have real conversations through text or speaking. However, and the biggest drawback, is there’s no formal teaching of conjugations or grammar rules. This is highly important when learning a language so you’re left with taking quizzes without even learning the foundational knowledge to answer correctly which is very frustrating. Overall, an okay language app

Something wrong

I purchased this app last week, it would be great if it didn’t make you repeat the same lessons over and over… I can’t work out how to fix it and it’s quite annoying so I will be deleting it unfortunately

Another subscription…

Look I get it that apps are always trying to make money for their hard work. But I don’t even bother if an app forces the immediate subscription onto me even if it’s a free trial cause now I have to pay attention before it charges me.

Look I would love to try this app out if it has a proper you get to experience the first couple lessons or features before I hand my card over to you. Because words don’t mean anything if I can’t experience it personally.

Because of that, we aren't able to offer unlimited free usage. Instead, we offer a free trial so you can experience the full app before deciding whether it's right for you. We also understand that people sometimes forget to cancel a trial. If that happens, we've enabled refunds through Apple for eligible cases, so users aren't left without options. If you decide to give Verbi a try and your experience is different from what you expected, we'd love to hear your thoughts. The app worked at first

The app worked when i first downloaded it. It spoke to me in Italian, which is what I wanted. And every time after that it just spoken in English and I couldn’t get it to speak to me in Italian even after deleting the app and re-downloading it again, it still doesn’t work. It looks like a great app if it could function properly. I would’ve been happy to pay for it but the settings need to be updated so you can customise it better. It doesn’t hold many vocabulary words which is super annoying. The idea of the features are great. But it definitely needs A LOT of improvement before anyone should pay the asking price (which is just ridiculous) for an app that doesn’t function well.
