Hi! Just to clarify, you don’t have to pay $80 to try Verbi. We offer a 3-day free trial with access to the app, and you won’t be charged if you cancel before it ends. Our AI tutor has a real cost every time it’s used, so we unfortunately can’t offer unlimited access completely free, but we cover that cost during the trial so you can try Verbi before paying.

We’re sorry about this. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled entirely by Apple, so we cannot approve or deny them ourselves. We enable refunds in cases like accidentally forgetting to cancel a trial, but Apple reviews the customer’s account and refund history and makes the final decision. Unfortunately, we have no control over their decision.

If you were saying the correct Spanish words and they were consistently being marked as incorrect or recognized as completely different words, that’s not the experience we want. We’re actively improving our speech recognition and pronunciation evaluation to make it more accurate and forgiving of different accents.

Thanks for the feedback! This is a great suggestion. We know vosotros isn’t commonly used in many Spanish-speaking regions, especially Latin America. We’re working on giving learners more control over regional Spanish and the vocabulary and conjugations they practice. Thanks for helping us improve Verbi!

Response time is ridiculously slow

Thanks for the feedback, and you’re absolutely right that 10–15 seconds is too long. We experienced a massive spike in users that temporarily overloaded our servers, causing unusually slow AI responses and issues with speaking lessons. We’ve since resolved the problem and response times should be much faster now. We’d love for you to give Verbi another try!

Thanks for the detailed report! We’re aware of this bug, it was introduced in our latest update and can cause lessons to expect words in the wrong language. We’re actively working on a fix, as well as improvements to voice recognition. We hope you’ll give Verbi another try once it’s fixed!

Sobre os planos: oferecemos diferentes opções de assinatura, incluindo um plano semanal sem período de teste e um plano anual com 3 dias grátis antes da cobrança. O teste gratuito não gera nenhuma cobrança caso a assinatura seja cancelada antes do término. Também agradecemos o comentário sobre os áudios. Estamos constantemente melhorando as vozes e a experiência de conversação do Verbi para que soem cada vez mais naturais. Sobre o comentário de “mau caráter”, respeitamos sua opinião, mas não acreditamos que oferecer o teste grátis apenas no plano anual seja uma prática injusta. O objetivo do teste é justamente permitir que você experimente o Verbi antes de pagar, e oferecemos essa possibilidade gratuitamente por 3 dias, algo que muitas assinaturas nem sequer oferecem. Caso prefira não utilizar o teste, o plano semanal continua disponível como alternativa.

We also appreciate your feedback on the pricing.
