Warning for Australia!
DO NOT BUY FROM VC!! I chose to buy from Australian sellers within the filters to reduce environmental impact. Then I noticed they had charged me “import taxes.” When I contacted them to find out why, they said they couldn’t do direct shipping within Australia (auspost is still in business, pretty sure) so they were shipping it to Hong Kong first, then reimporting it!! I said this was unacceptable on many levels, including environmentally, but they said they couldn’t cancel the transaction! I contacted the sellers directly and they were able to cancel, but VC says this violates their Ts and Cs and so sellers will be penalised and I will not be refunded! I have raised a dispute with PayPal. This is after me not buying from them for over a year because they sold me a fake and items that were damaged then tried to tell me I had to drive over 200km to take them to a collection point. I would have thought they would have sorted out their issues by now but they are just going from bad to worse! EDIT: They have replied to my complaint saying I chose “authenticated shipping” and this is why my order was going from Aus to HK then back to Aus (triggering customs fees) but there was no direct shipping option (they say this is a “technical issue” when really they just can’t be bothered to sort out shipping domestically so just pass the cost along to the consumer). BTW, PayPal found in my favour, believing VC were being deciptful and unreasonable.

Zero visibility and extortionate fees for doing absolutely nothing.
Getting eyes on your items is nearly impossible, yet their cuts are ridiculous. On a £600 sale, they pocketed £100 from me and charged the buyer another £30—and this was without any authentication service included. Taking £130 for literally doing nothing is pure greed. Sell elsewhere.
Terrible Website
I sent a dozen plus photos of a bag that I’m trying to sell, including original purchase tags and authenticity card and they still refused it citing inability to authenticate. Never again.

This is by far one of the worst marketplace experiences I have had.
The platform repeatedly rejects listings for genuine and authentic items, often citing vague and unconvincing reasons such as claiming that product photos were taken from the internet. Sellers of legitimate products are left frustrated with little transparency or consistency in the approval process.
What makes this even more concerning is the number of complaints from buyers who claim they received counterfeit or non-authentic bags from listings that were approved and published on the platform. If authentic items are being rejected while questionable listings are allowed, it raises serious concerns about the effectiveness and credibility of the review system.
A marketplace should be built on trust, authenticity, and fair moderation. Unfortunately, this platform fails to inspire confidence in any of those areas. I would strongly recommend that buyers exercise caution and purchase luxury goods only from reputable and trusted sources.
