The worst. They deleted all my listings. Don’t deactivate - deleted.

It took so long to post type descriptions for them to just deleted. Not a place I’d ever look at selling. The WORST. Tradesey was so much better. I don’t get all the positive reviews, the app is very clunky. And for a seller the worst of them all. Stay away from

Best customer service I ever experienced

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I had an outstanding experience with Vestiaire Collective. Their customer service was exceptional from start to finish—professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful. Every question I had was answered quickly, and they kept me updated throughout the process. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled smoothly, making me feel valued as a customer. It’s rare to find such dedicated support these days. I highly recommend Vestiaire Collective to anyone looking for a trustworthy platform with excellent customer service. Thank you for such a fantastic experience!

Unfairly deactivated account

I have had a vestaire account for months and downloaded the app to make my first purchase when my account was deactivated with no warnings or suspensions for no apparent reason. I have contacted support and they keep resending the same impersonal response which answers and resolves nothing. Deeply disappointed by the horrid customer service and I just want my account back to continue shopping

Unusable trash

4/4 actually authentic items rejected by their ridiculous "authenticating process"

200 euro loss not covered! RUN away

Horrible. Sent package lost via their chosen dhl first they tried to accuse me of not sending it after the proof they got they are dishonest about everything regarding my case.
NO MONEY NO SHOES

WORST EVER

As a seller and fashion activist that has been using the app for a year now, it has been nothing but frustration. Even if you sell authentic items and provide receipts, somehow they will STILL ban your account and put it on vacation mode forever. There are so many better platforms out there. Don’t. Use. This. One.

Worst app ever

Do not use this app to sell your items, it takes a lot of time for you to get paid because either customers collect their packages after a long time or the packages get lost on the mail. This app is not good for the sellers.

Many Many "certified authentic" Fakes

I buy and sell designer vintage for a living. I can just see by many pictures on the app that items are fake.

On the app it says experts have deemed items as authentic. What experts?

For example Gucci has never done a certain style in "vegan leather", yet it's offered as certified by the app? Also, a random item sewn with Loro Piana fabric is NOT Loro Piana, and yet much of the "authentic" Loro Piana items are simply badly sewn coats from Loro Piana fabric (Loro Piana sells both fabric and clothes, BIG difference)

Someone should investigate who these experts are. China has become really good at fakes, and some items are near impossible to spot without an actual expert.

My advice, take whatever you buy to the actual designer (store) and ask if they would have a look. If it's fake, in certain countries like Italy and France you can possibly sue.

Edit to developer response: I did send quite a few fake listings to support with listing ID, never heard back, listings stayed up.

Edit: they did indeed change the icon back I’ve adjusted my review xoxoxoox

DO NOT PURCHASE HERE

Beware of this company and its fraudulent practices. Sellers can post images that do not match the actual item that ships. I purchased something that said “new with tags” and had pictures of the item with tags. However, when it shipped, I immediately noticed it did not have tags. I contacted support right away and sent back the item. Their review “authenticated” it again but didn’t check the missing tags. It had to get escalated multiple times before another group checked it again. When this second group looked, THEY ADDED TAGS and sent me a picture. However I also took a picture when it shipped WITHOUT TAGS. They are scammers at every stage. Be careful.

Required authentication fees to no purpose

TWO ISSUES -AUTHENTICATION AND HONORING PROMO CODES
AUTHENTICATION ISSUE :Three of the many items I’ve purchased somehow passed through authentication. The first one, a silk Versace top, had a huge 3 1/2 inch rip along the sleeve seam near the chest area. Going back to the ad, I could actually see it while on their mannequin which was easily missed due to the color of the top and the color of the mannequin somewhat blending in. The second top which was Gucci was over 2 inches shorter than advertised. The third top, which was Burberry arrived saturated with cigarette smoke. Don’t you think these things should be mentioned in the authentication report?? Absolutely! What is the purpose of the authentication report?… for an image they can advertise but not hold up? they refused any returns with the exception of the Versace top in which case they wouldn’t cover return shipping(international). I wish I could attach photos to this review because it’s genuinely jaw dropping what they got away with. What options am I left with after receiving something that’s clearly damaged or misrepresented.? I couldn’t be more disappointed with this and will never take another chance. I’ll just stick with The Real Real or even Ebay, who also offer authentication for a smaller fee than Vestiaire.
Granted, I’ve received great deals by sellers who except offers, but those three orders that Vestaire refused to let me return was too much.
Fool me once, shame on them, fool me 2 and 3 times???… uuhhh, how foolish of me! It was literally their ratings and the way they presented themselves that I trusted, which clearly has been overridden by personal experience now.

HONORING PROMO CODES:
I was purchasing something that was $100, $184.48 to be exact when all of their fees… Crazy as it is but there promo code ‘YAY15’ which is good for purchases $100+ wasn’t working. I spoke with customer service was an incredibly lengthy and painful conversation only to end up being cold to read all of their rules and regulations. They asked me for screenshots to verify the promo code therefore, I sent them screenshots of my order, the promo code, and the requirement of the order having to be $100 or more. In fact, it says “promo good on card orders of $100+” which makes sound like it can be used for multiple items as long as it doesn’t exceed $120 in discount. After being asked send screenshot to verify what I was saying, I honored that request. “Olivia“ came back claiming it didn’t meet the guidelines. I told her that nowhere did it have “*more details” or anything similar and there were nowhere to search for more details. I requested a screenshot of what there was referring to, and after several minutes, she came back and told me she wasn’t able to send me a screenshot. I told her to flee honor the same request that I fulfilled for her, but she said she was unable to, and that I just need to go find the rules and regulations and read it myself.
Bottom line, I received no help, customer service was yet again horrible for the fourth time, and nothing was accomplished. I didn’t end up purchasing the top that the seller accepted my offer to. Solely due to this dishonorable, click bait promo code.

I wish I could include photos of the screenshots as well as chat log because I think several potential customers would be detoured. I don’t know how their ratings are so high, which ironically matches their insane fees, because I’ve never experienced good customer service. All four times there’s been any issues, including the torn Versace top. They sent me that somehow made it through authentication without being noticed, smoke stand infused, Burberry top, and the other two issues I’ve raised were all snubbed.
I am shocked that a company like this lacks the knowledge and honor it takes to provide decent let alone good customer service

Regarding the first top, the Versace top, how did the top pass through so many hands at Vestiaire but not one person noticed a huge 3 1/2 inch rip on the upper chest area!?? Clearly there was a person who opens received items from the seller, then there’s someone who places it on the mannequin, then they take it off of the mannequin, then they inspect it and do their “authentication“, then tag it, then package it and ship it.
HOW IS THIS CONSIDERED AUTHENTICATION THAT THEY’RE FORCING CUSTOMERS TO OVERPAY FOR? Everyone missed an enormous hole in a thin delicate silk top, which is significantly easier to spot than other materials.
In their authentication reports, they should 100% include whether it reeks of smoke since many people are allergic to smoke. Their limited and useless “authentication“ isn’t for the customer’s benefit, it’s so they could check certain boxes and advertise they do authorization, giving people a false sense of security. I guarantee if they had “saturated with smoke“ on their authentication list, many people would decline the order.

Super laggy

Always bugs or lags after spending 5 mins on the app and it doesn't matter whether the app is updated or not. It been that way for the past 5 months...

Extremely Disappointing & Concerning

My account was suddenly restricted and later permanently closed after what appeared to be an automated “suspicious activity” review, despite the fact that I consistently uploaded receipts and supporting documentation for my listings in good faith.

What made the experience particularly frustrating was the complete lack of transparency and consistency throughout the process. I received multiple different explanations, including:

* authenticity verification concerns,
* requests for proof of purchase,
* suspicious activity,
* and “linked accounts”.

However, at no point was I clearly informed:

* which specific item was being challenged,
* what activity was considered suspicious,
* or what evidence led to the decision.

I was initially told I would receive details of the items concerned so I could respond appropriately, but that information was never actually provided. Instead, I received repeated generic responses and references to Terms & Conditions sections that did not appear relevant to the explanations being given.

As a seller, this experience has seriously affected my confidence in the platform. If receipts and documentation can simply be ignored without meaningful explanation, it raises concerns about the fairness and transparency of the review process for genuine users.

Very disappointing experience overall.

Absolutely trash app; run by bots

I’ve had a genuinely awful experience with Vestiaire. My account was suddenly deactivated and the explanations I was given kept changing. First I was told it was “suspicious activity”, then it was apparently authenticity concerns about items I had listed, then later I was told it was because I supposedly had another account.

I kept trying to explain that my main issue was that the items I had listed are authentic and I was happy to provide proof. Instead, I just kept getting passed around and sent vague and generic replies.

The most worrying part is that they eventually told me my “active account” was linked to an email address I don’t recognise and that is not mine. They also asked me for proof of purchase for a Gucci bag I have never owned or listed. At that point it really felt like they either mixed my case up with someone else’s or were relying on incorrect information.

I still haven’t had a proper explanation or a fair review of the actual items I listed. For a platform that is supposed to be built on trust and authentication, this whole process has been extremely poor.

Overall a trash app run by bots. I have lodged a formal complaint with the regulator and I hope strict action is taken against them, they’re clearly misusing and misrepresenting private personal details. Never using this app again.

Look somewhere else!

I put so much effort in my profile! I wanted it to be a gallery for my favorite ties. Selling was not the priority because these guys take so much money! They can give 5, 6 dollars for a tie they sell for near 20. Then the badges as trusted or expert seller you earn are taken from you, just because the system is "automatic" and sometimes doesn't read you did ship the item on time. And the response from them is: it will be given back in time. It bothered me so much, I told them: please fix this, manually or I'm leaving, it's unfair and your fault. They did it once. But it happened again. And will keep on happening, just because their system does not work and they just think we don't care about it. The custom service is polite but I don't want to be part of something broken. I left as an act of justice.

Got empty box as order

Ordered a wool jacket (which went through verification too). Got an EMPTY tiny box instead. Reached out to customer service - still no resolution, I have to keep chasing all the time, and they keep promising they will reach out and resolve. Well… when will it happen?

First time user and both orders canceled

So , two different orders accepted then canceled . And the part that I didn’t like was that some goofy badge I got was revoked like I did something . I’ll stick to Depop, Grailed, Mercei and eBay . This is trash indeed .

Scammed me

Don’t use this seller they will scam u and keep stringing you along
