Useful for a Ball-Park Estimate

I checked my rating. Used this calculator. And was happy with the number. However, I tried a different app, and got a different number. Upon further reading, this app is updated UP-TO 2021. So my 2025 rating is different. Fortunately, the it was a lower number in 2021 than it is now - so I don’t have the hurt of disappointment. Still a good means of getting an idea.

Right on target

This app has helped me many times over in explaining to people how the VA calculates their rating. I am a county vet service officer and when we use Vet Calc They finally understand how the disability is not added up, but taken away from a healthy body. I’m glad to have this in my toolbox.

Calculations incorrect

I am currently 60% service connected. I am married and have 3 dependent children under 18 and I receive $1,743.93/ month. As per this app calculations it says I receive $1,432.39.

It seems like it has not been updated as COLA increases each fiscal year.
