Gate didnāt update
I nearly missed my flight today because the gate on the app never updated from āTBAā. The information screens in the airport showed the correct gate. Please debug and fix this.

Boarding pass integration issue
Generally okay but the Virgin app wonāt add my boarding pass to my Apple Wallet for some reason.
Going Round In Circles
I am trying to check in. It lets me check in for 1st leg of journey (but canāt add boarding pass to wallet or add bags).

Such a bad app
Every time you log into the app it seems to want to take you to a webpage where you have to login again. Trying to find flights is also a nightmare as it crashes and I have given up. I canāt believe I am saying this but is BAās app better?!

This app is useless. It cannot remember my up coming flight. I have to keep inserting my booking ref so itās pointless. Might as well use the web
This might be the worst airline app Iāve ever used
The worst. Iāve added it to phone, iPad and tried online. The scan obviously doesnāt work on desktop computer but there is no option for simple āadd my passportā. The app logs you in and out continuously between a webpage and the app. The app neither remembers my flying club number nor lets me log on with an email address. The log on works finally go to flight details āplease log onā give me strength virgin donāt make this more difficult than it has to be you already have my flight information.

Fix The Miles Statement!
The app is fine apart from one part - where you see the entries that make up your accumulated miles today. It worked at the end of 2025 but so far in 2026 (despite a number of flights/entries) the total has increased (along with my tier points) but the entries making up the changes on the statement page just shows an error. Come on Virgin - this isnāt the first time this has happened and it canāt be that hard to fix can it???

Iām always befuddled at the quality of multimillion dollar corporationās apps. I swear this app was developed by a 3rd grader. For the love of God please get a decent developer! This app is absolutely useless! Nothing and I do mean nothing in the app works. Starting with face recognition. And why the hell do I have to sign into the rewards portal if Iām in my account? Add your rewards card to your wallet? Nope. Doesnāt work. Absolutely useless.

Please spend some quality time on your app experience, its ability to maintain relevant details of bookings is frankly shockingā¦ that is of course poor, if you can even get into the app. Not a great experienceā¦ please do better, reputation and brand is impacted.
Why canāt UK airlines do apps?
I feel like there is a real difficult in making functioning apps for UK airlines. Actually the budget airlines have the best apps of them all!
You have buttons that log you out on clicking, pages that donāt load. If you canāt put your app through proper regression testing before updates then donāt bother.
Do the basics well and then go from there.

Seat allocation
Wish airlines would stop ripping off people with seat allocation, adding another Ā£80 to choose a seat on an already expensive flight is ridiculous.just show the cost in the flight cost and whoever books early gets first choice!
