Great search engine

Find it to be a great place to start when looking for RN travel positions for places and rough rates. Some companies post bogus rates so need to watch that! Once you find a city posting a need, easy to go to the company
website to see if legit or shoot them a message on Vivian. Not too fond of the AI assistant. It’s rather annoying, actually.

Not successful in finding employment.

I have not been able to find employment however I am consistently having numerous recruiters reaching out to me but they are unable to find me employment.

Not great

Filters dont work very good, for city and state for example. Also the filter for pay doesn’t slide over. Application process, onboarding seems excessive, before even knowing if you have a contract.

It’s a scam

It’s a scam. Fake jobs and fake recruiters

Travel nurse hub

Love all the options they have and being able to use filters to give exactly what I want.

Dialysis Technician

The platform layout makes it easy to submit a profile, but the actual application pipeline lacks human oversight. I never received any status updates, follow-ups, or formal notifications regarding my submissions. While the Vivian AI Assistant has its technical benefits, the platform relies too heavily on automated workflows. This over-reliance completely detaches recruiters from candidates, creating a frustrating ghosting experience for healthcare professionals seeking jobs. As a healthcare professional, communication is critical. Vivian has a solid concept with its universal profile, but the platform's heavy reliance on automated matching and AI screening leaves candidates completely in the dark. Leaving an application open with zero notifications or closure is unprofessional. The platform needs to better balance its technology with actual recruiter accountability.

Details

Maybe I’m new at this, and maybe it’s on this site. But I would like to be able to filter preferences a little more into detail. I am just diagnostic radiologic technologist, no CAT scan, MRI or ultrasound. I would also like to know if these positions are weekdays or weekends and I understand it’s up to the employer.. and for some reason, the travel preference has me applying for days and evenings. I’ve tried to check and uncheck evenings, but unable to. Just little things you guys are very helpful.

Multiple contracts great pay

ICU 10+ years. I’ve been traveling since COVID. I almost exclusively take all my contracts through Vivian. The process is streamlined, the opportunities are endless, and you know you are not getting shafted with contract prices. 10/10.

Helpful job updates

The system ignores filtering

I have found a couple of jobs through Vivian, so yes, it is a legitimate job board, but the problem is the same job is posted multiple times with different recruiters for different pay packages, sometimes with the same agency, sometimes with different agencies. The other problem is when I put in my filters, the name of city and state where I’m looking, instead of showing nearby cities, it will show cities in other states with similar names. Then it will tell me that I’ve applied when I’ve only requested info. Then when it says apply to similar jobs, it will apply me to other jobs on different units that are different from my specialty, but with similarities that shouldn’t matter like a similar sounding city name in a different state. It seems obvious to me that this app is automated by either AI or Something, not human.

Response from developer

Hello Ashley! We appreciate your feedback and we apologize that your recent experience with Vivian was not exactly what we aimed for. 1. The search results should always honor the filters. However, if you also added custom keywords in the free text search bar, this will override the existing filters that you have. If you're having specific issues with the Location filter, please have this reported to our clinician support team using the 'Contact Vivian' button. 2. "Applying" or "Expressing interest" in jobs on our platform doesn't automatically submit you to the position. The recruiters you connected with can just provide additional information, or the AI Assistant can initially screen if you're eligible for the role. If you do not want to be screened by the AI Assistant, you can always respond 'AGENT' in the chat. 3. Similar jobs should always be within the same specialty and location as the original job you applied for. If you're seeing differently, please also have this reported to our support team.

I love Vivian

I really like the Vivian app. Finding jobs is so much easier than a recruiter calling me all day everyday and the fact that I received rewards for booking my job through Vivian.

Amazing

Unreliable

I have had it for 4yrs and can say it’s completely waste of time using the app, vivian doesn’t have easy system to file a complain about the recruiter who are completely unprofessional and have no morals.

Making corrections

I don’t understand why, when I put in a job in the wrong order, I can not just copy and paste it to another position? I’ve had to rewrite it 2 x which is very labor intensive. Any suggestions?

Don’t sign up

They sell your info, and if you sign up with a phone number, prepare for dozens of calls per week from recruiters.

Dispicable

Signed up to see what it was like, gave a fake phone number and never applied to anything. A recruiter stalked me and called my current workplace. They said they got my info from Vivian so the developer reply is not accurate.

Harassment

You will get text messages and phone calls from recruiters non stop with no way of stopping it. Doesn't matter how many times you opt out. I inquired about a job 1 year ago and I'm still getting phone calls and text messages daily.
