App not working
Since I’ve installed the app. I am not able to check train scehdule, and updates maybe there is glitch in app.
App Not Working On iPhone 16 Pro
I installed the app and the phone is connected to the Internet. I am not able to retrieve any data on the next 5 home page. Be it any service or any source and destination. Nothing comes up. Other things on the app are working fine just the next 5 home page is not showing anything. It only gives a message that the phone may not be connected to the Internet. Phone model- iPhone 16 pro. iOS - 26.5.2.

Geelong the worst line
It is 2026 and I can’t count how many times Geelong line got problems, just last week the line got problems 2 times, that took me 5 hours back home. Seriously considering moving.
Needs improvement
It desperately needs an option to cancel and amend bookings. Otherwise reasonable good.
Doesn’t work
Vline have obviously given up on this app. Still doesn’t work properly errors users have been reporting for years not fixed.
Does the bare minimum
So it tells me when trains are arriving/leaving, and from which platform (the bare minimum).
It doesn’t tell me if trains are running late … well it kinda does, it just sent me a notification at 1132 that the 0652 train is running 25 mins late … which makes this feature pretty much redundant.

Bug: widget unavailable
Widget used to be available, no longer available in ios 26. App still refers to a widget in a splash screen despite this lack of functionality
Time table
I recently installed app for to check the timetable but it’s doesn’t tell me any timetable for the trains despite being added my journey, useless app to he honest😐
Almost completely useless
Next 5 doesn’t work and just says that you’re not connected to the internet - even though you are. Hasn’t worked for years. Genuinely lucky to be averaging 2 stars
Widget doesn’t work
App interface looks great and it’s easy to set up, but it doesn’t appear as an option to add the widget to my home screen, no matter what I try
Doesn't work properly
My app does not work properly.. I tried to delete the app and reinstall it many times but it still does not show the next five scheduled V/Line services and Southern Cross station platform information. :( everyone in my family and friends are able to use it without an issue.

Next five is useful but need to be able to toggle to see more than that or modify day/date you need to travel (like PTV app). It’s annoying that I need to constantly use the PTV app to work out travel plans. Would rather just use this app.
When is the next 5 getting fixed
I’ve got the newest iPhone, iphone 17 and I’m still getting the message “Please check your internet connection and then tap to try reloading this service” which I previously would get with my iPhone 14.
I have no internet issues and this is an iPhone 17 Pro with the latest iOS.

Useless app without it. Please fix it.
Horrible app
App is subpar. People with iOS have got the “updated” version and yet I still don’t have it.
Lacking in basic features
I basically only use this app as a timetable, and today I couldn’t even do that. There is work on one of the lines that goes through my station and now the app shows nothing but a link to a pdf timetable??
It’s 2025. We should have dynamic timetables and live tracking. I should be able to know that my train is cancelled before I drive to the station

Terrible
Utterly hopeless. Doesn’t retrieve any train or schedule information anymore. I only keep it because there are occasional train updates that are hard to find elsewhere.
Poor excuse for an app
Hard to navigate. Can’t choose multiple seats but you can book multiple tickets. The layout is designed for a website, not the app.
Forgotten app?
This app simply doesn’t work anymore. No next 5 trains showing even when there certainly are. Has the app been given up on?
