Volaris is the best
Horrible. They hide their loyalty program!
Volaris does everything possible to keep you from earning any points. Their website is a disaster often doesn't let you login. And their app forces you to download another app (Altitude) to be considered for any sort of loyalty points. Basically it's "constructive fraud."
Horrible check in
You can only check in with the app and the app doesn’t work. This thing is trash and shouldn’t be the only option when checking in.
Terrible app
I find it inconvenient that I must download the app to do a check in. The app also wouldn’t let me manually enter the passport information. Makes it inconvenient and impossible to check in a parent that is in a different country. Thinking about not booking with Volaris in the future.

Forced to use to check in, and it doesn’t work at all
Completely unable to load anything with this app. Had to arrive to the airport early to check in. After waiting 20 minutes for the check in to load originally, then it couldn’t take my payment for the airport fee. Useless and predatory app.

Ustedes son culero obligandonos a bajar la app para hacer algo tan necesario como checkin, aveces uno tiene el celular lleno o viejo y no podemos descargar la app y sino lo hacemos no podemos volar con el tiquete q ya compramos. CULEROS!

Terrible experience with the Volaris app. I’m trying to check in, and the app forces me to scan my passport. After successfully reading it, it says that the information “does not match” my reservation, even though all the information is correct.
Even worse, there is no option to enter the passport information manually to fix the issue. I also tried checking in through the website, but the website simply forces me back to the app. Basically, you get stuck in a process that doesn’t work, with no alternative way to complete your check-in.
Something as important as check-in should not depend entirely on a passport scanner that blocks the whole process when it fails. Extremely frustrating and a complete waste of time, especially when you have an international flight coming up.
If I could give this app 0 stars, I would.

Pessimo
Sin duda, Volaris restringe la facilidad de poder hacer check in para sus vuelos. Obtener pase de abordaje es un desafío bastante difícil. Esta aplicación es bastante anticuada y requiere más adjustes.

App Never Opens
The app never opens, which means I can’t check in my flight. Since every check-in link directs me to the app. Terrible!
You get what you pay for.
About as budget airline as it gets. Requires you to check in on app but doesn’t work half the time, it’s a bit buggy. All this airline has going for it is that it’s a lot cheaper. If you are prepared to save $100 but there’s a high chance you’ll get shafted then go for it. Just hope nothing goes wrong or else it’s a headache.
