Love the convenience, when I get all of the groceries I ordered

I use Walmart in home/Walmart plus because I am a single mother who works full time. I don’t have time to go to the grocery store. When I get the groceries I ordered, I love this fulfillment method. However, the last few times I’ve ordered something, several things are missing from my order. Not just a few things are missing, like $25-$50 worth. This most recent order the following was missing, 2 tubs of butter, 2 large containers of yogurt, a falling of milk, a half a gallon of OJ, ramen noodles…. Now, in order to have the ingredients for smoothies for my son in the morning, I’m forced to go to Publix across the street from my house. This is getting so frustrating! And when I try to get a refund, it’s not so easy. I just want convenience and completeness!

In home delivery.

In home delivery is the best! Food delivered by other means is sub par at best. I know from experience. Had food dropped off at the neighbors house and even on the wrong street. Onc I had just one small bag of fruit dropped off and the other 21 items were never found after calling the delivery service. They refunded me okay but not the tip. Since then I have a great delivery specialist who has worked for Walmart for 15-20 years and knows where everything is in the store and keeps me notified every step along the way. Let’s me know if she’s running a few mins. behind. My dog has learned that when I open up the front door it means the ‘Treat Lady’ is coming. Couldn’t recommend this service more.

Return items in-store? Really?

It is hard to comprehend why I would be required to return a broken sweet potato and frozen cilantro in-store. How about you allow us to post photos of return requests and you simply remove them from the cost? I mean, I’m talking about under $2. It’s not like a scam or something. Honestly… On the coattails off my recent experience of recieving the wrong order all together, while attempting to help a family member going thru chemo and show her how wonderful and helpful Walmart+ could be, then no answer (ever) at the local store only to refund the entire order via 800 customer service… I know you can and want to do better. I still believe, just a little less enthusiastically. Had to vent…

Ashley was awesome!

My daughter was just recently killed and Ashley took a moment to let me share that with her and show her a picture and just let me talk about it for a second because it’s been the most difficult couple of weeks of my life. She put my dog and let me share, and let me cry for a second and then give me a hug. It’s nice to have someone that I’m not afraid of. That speaks English. That reads English. They can understand what I’m saying, where to put the groceries, and it doesn’t bring me rotten food or that’s going out the next day. I cancelled my service for InHome for many reasons but hopefully I can keep it a bit longer if you have more representatives like Ashley. Thank you In Home, thank you Ashley. She deserves a very big pat on the back and what I’m going through!

Almost Perfect

The app gets the basics right when combined with the Walmart shopping app. Tracking and estimated delivery times on the app are not great but that is most likely the technology in the vehicles. It will show the truck jumping all around the area with estimated time increasing and decreasing constantly. Once I am the next stop, things go well and the driver always arrives within 15 minutes of the “you’re next” notification; and I’ve never had a delivery outside of my assigned time slot. I like that I can see little profiles about the drivers and appreciate that I can expect to see the same few drivers coming back to deliver my items time after time. Substitutions can be difficult but not impossible to enter sometimes in the app. While the app does what it should… it’s the people that make Walmart+ InHome what it is. I do not like to shop in store as they are too big and crowded. Even pickup at my local store is a hassle as they have over 30 pickup spots. But InHome sends really great WM Associates to my home. They have all been wonderful.
