Claims they’re updating yet app and website both down for 3 days. Thieves! Can’t access anything including a disputed transaction. Worst ever financial system can’t get out of their own way. I just called Treasury Dept!

Green Dot Bank had done it again! If you wanted to check your card balance you are stuck just like everyone else until the app developers finish with transferring from this app into a totally different new app that is far from complete. What happened is Walmart Money Card just dropped a new App and it’s not even close to being functional in Mid July. Been using this bank for a while and this is by far the worst experience I’ve had since using them. Last time was over a replacement card using this sketchy app. Please fix this…

Can’t unlock card due to maintenance
Always doing maintenance. Keep my card locked as an extra precaution and now can’t use it due to no app access while under maintenance. Been way over 12 hrs!!!!
I’m done with this card.
Terrible customer service. Takes forever to dispute something. You can only unlock your card in the app so when the app is down you’re screwed.
DO NOT GET THIS CARD!
This company shuts down without warning customers and you will not have access to your money.

Not Two Trust Greendot
I decided to get a Walmart prepaid debit card and once I put all my information on their so- call application with my phone number Walmart asked stated that they were going to send me a code to my number I provided to Walmart they showed me a number that I never put on the application. I should have known better because I purchased a greendot card from CVS loaded money on it the first day I got the card then a later day I tried to load money on my card and it would not go through so I contacted green dot card and the foreigner on the phone asked how much am I put on there? I him that’s not your business how much I am putting on my card he stated that my card was ready to load and I tried several more times and call green dot again and it stated that my card was disabled. So my point to this review is that after putting all my information and to see that it gave me a totally different number that I provided so I went back on this site to find out it’s a green dot card the same individuals who kept my remaining funds on my card and disable my card that I had from them don’t be aware too many scams going out here and to find out that my whole identity was stolen from Google and they are also foreigners. We need to be more aware of what’s going on around us. Us Americans every time you turn around something going on or are you on the phone speaking to a foreigner no American a foreigner and all this stuff

Refund not processed properly
I have been waiting for over a week for my balance to update. The money shows in my transaction balance yet not available balance and I can not get help with customer service. I need access to this money but nothing no help with customer service

It refuses to let me access my card. I have never had a problem with using it until yesterday. When I went to add money to my card, it would not allow me to access it. Even the people at Walmart couldn’t figure it out. I had to buy a whole different card and use my first name on this new one instead of my middle (which I go by) because it will deny me access.

The app allows you to generate a barcode to deposit cash. The app says that there's no fee when you're depositing at a Walmart store however I've been charged a fee every time I've made a deposit. Not a huge deal but kind of frustrating if you go out of your way to a Walmart store to avoid the fee and get charged a fee anyway. Overall, this service is very convenient and reliable.

always has errors
this card has errors and if you get an error message while you’re signing in and your money is in the vault or you have your card locked then you can forget about how the access to your money because you cannot get to it whatsoever and this app constantly has errors for maintenance I deal with this at least once a week and it’s terrible because we cannot get access to your moneyat first the app was OK but now not so much anybody considering this card I would work somewhere else if I were you I’m about to finally close this account

I couldnt even get in
It wouldn’t let me in. I logged in the right info but it just said to go to the website which looks mad sketchy and you can even do anything on the website which is why I downloaded the app. Also the website is being updated so you can transfer money or anything.
