Not a patch on Tabletop battles. Can’t enter default settings. Cant see my stats. Can’t go back and edit early pages in a battle. Will not link to BCP correctly for events (this appears to be a 3-way issue. The app relies upon a link to my Warhammer account. BCP says it has integrated with my Warhammer account but does not merge my events from a standard login in to the Warhammer version of my account. Ergo the 40K app says no events found and we go round an infuriating circle of inept software).

Dysfunctional
Pay wall of $7 a month just to build more army rosters, limited free rules on characters unless you cough up $60 each for codex codes, app update currently makes it unusable for 11th edition. Guys the minis are already a mortgage payment does the app really have to be more of the same?
WARNING!!! useless unless you bought the codex’s
Just a warning, the app is useless unless you have the Codex already for the code to put the code in to unlock the information about your army, which I think is the biggest flaw of this app. I think if I’m paying $50 a year I should have access to the Codex’s. The only thing the app gives you for free is the basic rules that you can print off the Internet for free anyway I recommend if you don’t have the Codex there are other apps out there that are better.

Beste App… für Geld
Die App ist leider nur gut wenn man Geld ausgibt .
Aber wenn man Codizies kauft kann man sich eine Liste machen, falls man Warhammer plus hat, ist dies die beste App die man haben kann.
Leider ist dies an ein Abo gebunden . Deshalb nur 4 Sterne .

Full of bugs
Since the rules updates. It has been throwing up composition errors.
Good app but with some problems
I like it and I’ll use it but I don’t like the fact I have to buy Warhammer+ for some features but apart from that it’s really good. I also find that the lack of being able to play Apocalypse or use legends is a problem, but the new 11th edition update is really good and that I unlock the new 11th edition units rules with my 10th edition codex is a good inclusion.

Paywall pain
App is awesome for list building and very nice for a newer play to ensure I’m making a legal list. Paywall making more than one list and paywalling basic rules on other armies is diabolical.
It would be a perfect app if a subscription unlocked the app entirely but no.

Keeps freezing
Apps freezes regularly on iPad, easily replicated. Been an issue for months and not resolved with the 11th edition updates. Requires force closing and reopening.

Subscription Based AppData
The restriction to being able to only create one list before you need to subscribe to this clunky app is absurd. We already pay to get the codex and we already pay for every model that is new or updated that we want. New Recruit is free, Tabletop Battles is free, both of these apps are clean and easier to use with less clutter. The design and monetization of this app are an insult to true fans. 2-Stars

No combat patrol support
No combat Patrol missions or access to War Journal or command bunker. Combat Patrol is a great game which used to use simple printable sheets with all the information on. This app has ruined the Combat Patrol experience.

Why can’t I see how many of each weapon my squad has while in play mode?

Being able to connect to your opponent’s list and link to BCP is just phenomenal.
The game scoring interface is user friendly. I’m not using any other app.

Love Warhammer Hate Games Workshop
I love Warhammer. The lore, the models the stories. But Games Workshop is a money hungry corporate monster with no love for their fans.

Mit dem neuen Sprachpaket sind nun alle Infos in verschiedenen Sprachen abrufbar. Auch die Armeelistenerstellung funktioniert gut. Es wäre natürlich prima, wenn man kostenlos mehr als eine Armeeliste speichern könnte, aber das kommt bestimmt noch. 😉

It’s Fine. But don’t expect much, it’s kinda useless.
This App is very Buggy to begin with. It Logs you out every time you close the App. If you intend on purchasing the subscription, be ready for the App to sometimes just „lose“ it if you close the app. It’s also very dissappointing to learn that the App doesn’t work unless you literally own the physical 10e codex that you want to use. It’s an OK army builder but it’s really useless without the codex.
