Great example of poor usability
One of the worst purchasing experiences I have seen in years - I only wanted 4 tickets to go to the Light trail as a nice thing to visit as a family. But… from there it’s a great case study for businesses and design students on why usability and design matter.
Adding tickets
Impossible to add tickets to this. Website doesn’t tell u how to do it and chatbot also unable to help
Painful to pre book with an annual pass
The App allows you to save your annual pass.
But to then pre book your advance visit with your annual pass, you have to manually enter the passes long barcode number.
So you have to manually write the barcode down from the app to then re type it back in on the booking page. Or send a screen shot to a different phone so you take a picture of your own pass to import it back into the booking page.
Whoever developed this app is a joke, such a fundamental design flaw.

Easy
Everything made easy. X
Better to use website
App is not user friendly. Wasn’t accepting bar code and timing out regularly. Better to use website.
Awful for Members
When booking a pre book on the app there is no way to automatically add your membership numbers into the registration form automatically so you end up either having to use two phones/computers or printing out screen shots of the barcodes.
Don’t bother
Abysmal - as an annual pass holder (not something we’d make the mistake of renewing) the app is a joke. The pain for trying to book a visit is almost funny - even though your passes are stored in the app you have to text screen grabs to a friend so you can scan the QRs from their phone, or worse, copy the barcode numbers and enter them manually as the tickets can’t be attached to a booking directly. App often pops up messages telling you to download the app(?!), even with your passes loaded it has no concept of who you are or what your address is, and using the app to find what’s going on is utterly hopeless. I’m amazed it has the score it has achieved although I assume this is from people who don’t try and use it on a regular basis

Pants app
Bought my tickets, as evidenced on my PayPal account. Yet no sign of them on this app. Then it asks you to scan a barcode ( how, it’s on my phone!) or enter email code.
Then just sits there saying ‘processing’

Poor password and email checks
Annoying app and sign up. Let me buy tickets via merlin pass using domain with .limited extension but app doesn't recognise it. Yhere are thousands of new domain extensions and your app does not allow them 🤦♂️
Waste of time
Ridiculous - tried to use it to find the Falconers Quest performance and gave up - the map was useless.
