Can’t log in
In my home network I am not able to watch my local channels. Logged out and tried to log back in and the redirect is asking for a reCapchata but nothing shows up. Pretty worthless if you ask me. Uninstalled, then reinstalled still not working. Shut down the phone and restart, still no good.

App is completely unreliable. Frequent messages that channels are not available for viewing unless connected to home WiFi/internet, which I AM. The only way I have found around this is to delete the app, reinstall and log into account. And today that didn’t work! Cable TV service is just as bad.
Doesn’t work at all
Just spoke to a wow IT person who told me there’s nothing he can do. My log in info is correct but it keeps saying “authentication failed”. Issue was bumped to a supervisor who may call me within the next FOUR DAYS. Note to WOW: If your app doesn’t work, you shouldn’t advertise it or say yo use it. This app is a failure.

Terrible
I’ve had wow for about a month now switched from Xfinity. Xfinity cable and even app was excellent but the price was getting too high decided to go ahead and try Wow as years ago I had it and liked it.
Not only has wow cable been a complete flop it’s skipping and pixilated and delayed but the app is horrible!! it worked OK at first when I downloaded it but now whenever I try to watch a show that I recorded or even just a live show it just circles and circles and never pulls up my show.
I’ve triedRemoving and re-installing yet nothing works. The customer service people are a complete joke can’t figure out anything to fix my actual cable or the app.
I’m at a absolute loss. “WOW” is right!!! This is a mind blowing horrible cable company… it’s sad because that’s why Xfinity is able to charge the prices that they do no real competition, but to have wow try to charge almost as much for a completely substandard, crap, low-grade product is terribly disappointing. I’m going to cancel after only one month. Just not worth $200 a month for this and an app that’s worthless!

This app is Junk
The whole forced switch to WOW TV+ has been a joke. Our old cable system with WOW was magnitudes better. This app is an excellent indication of how bad WOW's service is overall. Some of shows that are recorded will not play on the iPad but will on a TV. Some of live TV shows refuse to play. The closed captions don't work. The only choice for fast forwarding is 10 seconds at a time unless you use the scroll bar and that isn't easy to do. The app hasn't been updated in 10 months per the version history so that indicates they are not actively working to correct the problems. When I called customer service, the rep wasn't aware of the iPad app existence.

I don’t know how this app performs because it repeatedly rejected my login. Those login credentials still work on the website so I can’t figure out why the app won’t accept it.
Eureka, finally figured out how to login !!! 😁
To login use the Contact Email that is on your account (not the username). For the Password, I found the WIFI router security word worked. For me, a WOW technician created the account and and may have used the WIFI router security word for the password. Not sure if they can be different, suggest trying both.
Once logged in the App does work reasonably well. Haven't used it much yet. The TV guide allows you select Morning, Afternoon, and Tonight which shows icons of the shows that will be on. Recording of programs that are future or in-progress can scheduled. Recorded programs can be watched which is nice.

Worst app and customer service
Why launch an app and offer services when you can’t even connect to it? Have you even tested it? First CS was horrible, probably drunk, sorry it was the weekend I guess. Second CS was magnificent. I guess that’s how you operate! Zero stars!
Worthless if I can’t log in
It says I can use the same login credentials as my existing account, but they don’t work. I’d love to try this app but have to give it an F so far.
