A novice understanding the system
I’m finding the system relatively hard at my age to understand there are things in it that I obviously I have been told that the other company webpage for shares is far better but as a banking person with westpac that’s why I’ve stayed some sort of training? For the older person in regard to utilising this in a better way would be recommend Recommended other than that it’s still a good program

Terribly buggy
First problem is that from time to time after logging in, if I try to return to the “Portfolio” screen I am forced to authenticate with my pin again, despite being logged in already.
Now the app is telling me my PIN is incorrect despite me repeatedly typing it correctly, and I am thus locked out until I can access my password. No customer support is available without being logged in. Not acceptable Westpac.

Updated app is terrible
The app was initially ok but the latest update makes it very hard to read. Almost illegible compared to the previous version. I have to put on reading glasses to view the interface clearer but even then it is quite difficult
Not the best app
I cannot track my portfolios performance over time. The app only now got a refresh after years of poor interface. I still think the trading cost isn’t competitive with other non bank apps. Not sure why I persist.

Swipe on portfolio problem
When viewing portfolio in portrait mode, swipe to the left to read the RH side columns, then swipe right to view the LH side again will swipe the whole page to the previous window.

The app is much better than the website, but the bar is very low if that is the point of comparison.
It freezes all the time, particularly during the open and closing auction.

No ability to track portfolio on trend
No ability to track portfolio value on a trend over time.
Great but…
Overall this is a very nice app. I’ve been using it for very many years now and it’s excellent. However every now and again they do an update and it never seems to go quite as well as it might, this time screen is freezing so it really don’t work, which is obviously disappointing. I cannot trade on phone so I assume westpac is loosing money.

Fix Face ID broken for months
The app will write it does the job however Face ID decided to not work and despite uninstalling and reinstalling, many updates Face ID still does not work.
