Garbage. Do not use

Used one of these bikes in Oahu to get to a boat ride in the morning. The app wouldn’t let me and my partner park the bikes because they were in “no parking zones”. There was also no map within the app that showed us where we could park. We rode around for 20minutes trying to find a spot where the app would let us park (including designated bike parking areas in Oahu). Finally, my partner was able to get her bike to end ride but in the EXACT SAME LOCATION, I wasn’t able to do the same. Had to end up leaving the bike running because I wasn’t able to park and was about to miss my boat ride. Total charge: $65 usd for a bike ride that was supposed to be 20minutes.

Fun but parking confusing

It didn’t really explain that you have to park next to the other scooters. As a first time user the app kept saying ‘park in the green circle’—I was in the green circle… finally realized I had to park with the other scooters and then the app wouldn’t recognize that I was swiping to end the ride. I had to kill my wifi and kill the app, THEN it let me stop the timer. It’s still cool, but I wish the parking was emphasized when I opened the app or something. At least I know now, user error, but the app timer still going after I parked correctly is an extra drag.

Scam!

Looked easy but it wasn’t! We were not able to end the ride. There were no locations provided on the maps. Kept on saying no parking zone. The site mentioned “check the maps below for the parking areas” guess what no maps were provided. Finally we just had to leave them very far from where we actually wanted. We tried different bicycle stands, places away from the buildings and what not! Never doing it again.

They lack. No where does it show cost per use. Rented two of these which was fun, but one had no power a few minutes in and while we stopped to figure this all out, we were being charged. Couldn't turn off the service so it kept charging until gps worked. My gps stated 3.2 miles while theirs showed over 13 miles, although I was at the park next door. Felt like a scam and warn against others using this overly priced, non maintained piece of s that charged me $50 for their fake 13 miles and time used trying to figure out this mess. The downsides to this far outweigh the upside. Don't believe me yet? Take a look at their 6 page terms before accepting. There's NO representative to call and email is the only contact"we will get back to you". If anything goes wrong here your in a world of h. Stay far, far away. Your better off using your feet than putting money behind this company and it's horrible shady way of business. You've been warned.

Feels like I got scammed.

My friends and I used these bikes to get around in Downtown Austin. We all went to the same destination but somehow I was charged about 4x more than them, triggering the automatic reload (which of course is switched on by default). They only have customer service via a form on their app. In the app, it doesn’t even say how much the rides cost and I tried to get a receipt but it says my account doesn’t have an email listed (have to have an email to start the account so that’s not true.) I’m really disappointed. Not to mention they slowed down the bike near UT because it’s a no ride zone and I was stuck using my feet to push myself through a busy intersection to get out of the no ride zone.

Terrible Experience

We just rented 2 bikes and road them about a mile from where we are staying. We stopped and ended our ride with the intent to get back on and ride back to our hotel about 10 minutes later (the app did NOT notify us we were in a NO PARKING ZONE). When we got back on the bikes, it let us start our ride, and started charging us. The back wheel on the bikes were locked and we could not get them to go. We tried to end the ride and even though we were in the same place that we ended the ride the first time, it said “Unable to end ride in no parking zones”. The bikes have a URL listed that you can supposedly see the map of the these no park zones and of course it doesn’t work (it says no website found and yes we typed it correctly). I am currently 7 months pregnant and had to carry this bike to a place where I could get it to start or end my ride (again we don’t know how far we need to go because we don’t have access to the website that they said has the no parking zones). We called support and they took my info and said a rep would call me at *some point* and to stay by the bikes. That was hours ago and no one has reached out to us. It’s a good thing we were only a mile away from our hotel because we had to walk back. Needless to say it was a terrible experience.

Horrible

My friends and I had a reservation at a restaurant about 1.1 miles away. We thought “let’s just take the bikes there”. What a horrible decision. We spent 20 minutes after arriving trying to end our ride in their “designated parking zones”, but yet the app wasn’t allowing us to end our ride while it kept charging us. The app said we weren’t in the parking zone even though we were. We thought “it’s OK, we’ll contact their support to get this resolved” WRONG. Phone number, nowhere to be found. The email ticket system, which is non-existent, had to double reply to get a response. When I finally got a response, their brain-dead support was giving us copy and paste replies. You have a better chance of getting a real response from the bike than you would from their support.

Over charged

The bike stop when I stop to take a pictures of the beach and had to walk the bike to a designated stop point over charged my card because time would not stop after ride ended app wouldn’t let me slide to end ride smh what a rip off I want my money back i didnt even get to drive 23$ worth of minutes I would not recommend at all because if you stop at non placing point where your bike is can not be placed it will not let you end the ride instead you have to pick up the motor bike and walk it to the spot while still charging your card wth And customer service number on bike just tell you leave voicemail wth while still charging me and my fiancé 23 buck

Don’t ride!!

This app and ride share service is terrible! There is no way in the app to navigate to a stop, and the map it directs you to is not detailed enough to give even street names. So you have to pay while you open another app to navigate you to the stop. I prepaid and our ride took longer than we anticipated and then it locked up the bike when we had to stop to further out where we were. No way to back up and add more money or do anything. But the date kept going up. Had to drag the bike a half mile to end the ride!!

Fun with complications

The ride is fun, easy to start, even easy to see where you can START your ride (location of parked scooters). Getting the ride to stop is the hard part. Parking is strange and very limited. I end up having to walk about 2 miles to get where I was going because scooter parking areas are so limited. This is a bad feeling considering I have picked up a scooter from a “no-parking” zone in a homeless camp. I tried to park in front of my resort hotel but the app didn’t like it. People were literally waiting for me to get off so they could ride. I’m too old and fat to walk 2 miles every time I want to get somewhere on one of these. If parking gets fixed I’ll be a near daily driver while in Hawaii.

Charged me for more time than I used it

Literally took a 5 minute trip and it charged me for 20 mins and thought I did a 31km journey! Absolute joke - and terrible customer messaging service

Rubbish

Bogus Charges for Non-Use

Bogus charges will end up on your credit card. When your bike refuses to start, you’ll get charged. Time is money. When your bike suddenly stops working nowhere near a designated parking area, fees will unknowingly continue to rack up in the background and you will be unable to end the ride. You’ll be charged a bundle even when you’re no longer able to use the bike because it automatically turned off even though my credit card account was set to auto reload. This company is a total rip-off. Stay away!

Ruined my day

Can’t believe how bad this experience was. The app, once you’re riding, doesn’t show you where the dropoff locations are - the time it takes to memorize the address, plug it into your browser, find the local hotels, then plug these into google maps adds 10 minutes. Worst of all, my bike died 10 blocks from the nearest dropoff, and I had to carry it there so I could end the ride. 40 minutes carrying an ebike and I was paying for it the whole time. And then I was further from my hotel than when I started!! $75 for screwing an entire half day in Hawai’i with my son (who got to watch dad lose his mind for an hour).

Scam - bike locks up and charge you time locked

Contact: “Better Business Bureau Scam Tracker”
Update: Customer service “Felicia” responds 2 days after I called for support while the bike was frozen and miles away! Great job of following up while customers are in need of help! WARNING - This is a Scam operation with a Fake customer service rep! DO NOT BE LEFT STRANDED — - - - - - - - - At first it was working but then all of a sudden it locked up and I couldn’t move it and I was dragging it until I could finally connect to their extremely rude “Answering service” who was so nasty and yelled at me saying there is “NO LOCATION FOR HONOLULU” yet I am using it in Honolulu and regret it. While I’m on the line with this rude person, I am being charged and they charged me multiple times then credited it then multiple times and credited it. But never responded or refunded the time that they scammed me while the bike was locked up and frozen inexplicably. Do Not Use because you could be miles away from where they will force you to park and you’ll have to drag it back while being charged! Pure scam

Battery and software problems

There were about ten bikes lined up down the block from my downtown Austin apartment. I figured they must all have just been charged and dropped off… wrong. We activated 5 or 6 bikes to find a second bike that had close to half a charge.
Even with two bars of battery, once you get going the charge drops way down. The bikes barely had enough power to make it over a gentle hill. After two blocks one of he bikes stoped working, so we found another. After a mile and a half, the replacement bike stopped working. That left my Partner on foot while I went looking for another replacement. None were to be found, so we decided to give up.
I parked my bike and swiped to end the ride, but the app froze, it took me about three minutes to get the app to end the ride.
The app clocked 19 minutes and a distance of 3 plus miles for $8. In fact I had actually traveled 1.5, ridden under 10 minutes, and wasted 8 minutes on battery and software issues. I’ll stick with a scooter next time. Faster, more reliable, more fun and less frustration. Just my first and last experience with wheels.
