Bad service
No guaranteed ride. Why even provide this service when you don’t even know that you’re actually gonna get a ride or not. Also, the wait is insane 25-30 minutes sometimes even more because drivers like to stop and sit at random locations…. on weekdays the service supposedly starts at 7am but whenever I do request one at that time it’s extremely hard to find a ride. Make a change get more vans/buses or something because this is outrageous.

Somewhat disappointing
Usually busy and hard to find rides and when there are some available it’s rare that you’re able to get picked up right away. I’ve had very few good fast rides but even when I was the only passenger it took some time to arrive at my destination. Though the price is nice.
Inconvenient Now
I used to love this service, as I always used it to go to work or head home. But ever since they changed the times during the weekend, I literally have no use for it anymore. I don’t understand why service starts at 7 during the weekday, but 1 during the weekends! Me and a lot of people I know who use this service are very upset about it. Please change it back!!!

Do better Norwalk
The system is set up to either make you wait for 30 +mins or tells you to take the bus?
Also the app is ran by Norwalk Transit

Charged without receiving ride
The app is great for transportation, but I’ve noticed extra charges when requesting a ride. If a ride gets canceled due to high demand, I’m still charged a $2 fee. This is frustrating, especially when the cancellation isn’t my fault.

I just wish they had more buses and the buses came faster. There are times when my daughter is late for school because the bus takes too long to pick her up.

When it’s good…
When is good , it’s really good. Well priced way to commute to the train, nice drivers etc. For me, they need better service in the evening. Only one driver to Westport after 8 and usually impossible to book.

I had an amazing experience riding Wheels2 U. Clean vehicle and smooth ride in the Norwalk area. I would recommend it completely.
Convenient way to get transit
Great way to not pay the high Uber prices and still be able to get around Norwalk.
Useless if you live/work in West Norwalk.
The coverage area is only useful for those going to places in South/East Norwalk or Merritt 7. You can’t even get dropped off in an out of zone area.

Terrible pick up algorithm
Expect to wait 20+ minutes for a shuttle that is just down the block with nobody on it. Terrible optimization on their pickup algorithm
Limited coverage
With the limited coverage, this seems more like a shuttle bus from the Meritt 7 and a few surrounding offices. The app looks real nice, but the service is useless to me, based on the lack of residential coverage.
Great Service!
So happy that this service now has its own app! I use it to get to downtown almost every weekend with large groups of people. It eliminates trying to carpool and paying for parking. You also don’t have to feel bad about drinking that second drink! Cheers Wheels2u!
