FRAUDULENT & DANGEROUS - STOLE MY MONEY
Do not trust this app. I purchased a 30-day pass, and after a simple device reset and login, the app completely deleted my active pass and history. Even with a bank receipt and proof of purchase, their support (specifically "Alex") has ghosted me for over a week.
This isn't just a technical glitch; it's a safety liability. I am currently recovering from a C0-C1 spinal fracture, and because this app failed, I am being forced into hostile confrontations with bus drivers who think I'm fare-evading. Token Transit is aware of my injury and the liability, yet they refuse to restore my service or even respond to emails.
They take your money instantly but offer zero support when their software fails. If you rely on public transit for your safety and livelihood, stay away from this garbage app. Total scam.

Scammed
Deleted the app for like 30 minutes while a pass was active and now I can’t access it. No live customer service so now I have to pay extra money out of pocket to get to the food stamps office while I’m already broke. Unbelievable.
I was lied to by customer service
I hate this app. When I try to use a specific card for bus fare it just declines regardless if there is money on the card or not. I tried to contact customer support and sadly their response sounded like AI and their suggestions to troubleshoot the card was no help at all. On the email I received, they stated that they accept all cards as well as google pay, Apple Pay, as well as various other cards. This is a boldface lie because my card declines every time I try to use it on the app. I called my bank and they said it should be fine to purchase online or through apps. But nope. I continue to get declined. And they have no live agents helping you for your inquiries. You can send an email but they don’t have a direct line where you can talk to someone directly and get your issue resolved in a timely manner. This is unacceptable for a company that covers so many transit systems. Unacceptable. I hate to be a Karen but his is ridiculous. And when I called my local transit system, they said that it is out of their hands and there is nothing they can do. Why use a company that barely responds as it is. As a company, do better. Be reliable. Because whatever is going on at the moment, I wouldn’t recommend dealing with this company on my worst enemy. Token transit you get an F for horrible customer service and continuing to decline my card for no damn reason when I have plenty of funds on the card.

Deleting passes
It deleted two of my passes after activating them & still no response from their team, very disappointing.
Why did I just get charged for???
I’m visiting from out of town and trying to catch the bus to get to my hotel and the website sent me to this link to download the app so I could get a bus fare. All of a sudden my Apple Pay shows that a 21.59 charge just came through my bank acct. then the app asks me to select the fare I want (which is a $2 day pass half fare since I’m a veteran) what did I just get charge for???
