Amazing litter box that’s made for large cats.
Love it but……
I bought the Whisker EVO. The size is great and the profile looks nice in my home however, the materials used seem a lot cheaper made than my Whisker 3. I’m specifically disappointed about the step getting into the machine, very loose and feels at times like it’s going to break off. This causes the drawer to not seal well so I can at times smell cat litter. It was nice and tight when I bought it a year ago and now I feel it’s just falling apart. In my opinion, way too much money for how cheap this model is made .

EVO Bonnet / Safety Switch Poor Design
The transition of my two cats to the EVO litter robot seems to be going well for them. They both visit, the system differentiates between them with their weight differences, and I have removed one of their two litter boxes.
However, I have received multiple messages that the bonnet has been removed. It has not. It has simply moved up a 16th of an inch or less in the rear safety switch area, when the cycle is in the full open position, apparently from what little vibration there is. It is a very flexible piece, and the safety barely makes the connection with the little tiny tab in back. A tiny push down on the back with one finger starts its movement again, but when I release, it stops. Nothing is misaligned on the sides or front top, except for a very tiny rise in a little gap at the back. I have finally taped it down to eliminate the problem. The safety switch bonnet tab should have a much more positive engagement and not be at the very limits of that tiny tab. The bonnet is a very flexible piece and overall a poor design to allow this to happen. If the cat was to rub against it, it would disengage.
How can I feel safe eliminating the final old litter box and leaving EVO as the only resource for them when it locks in the full open position with the litter box opening exposed and no litter available for them, especially if I am away from the house, or in the middle of the night when I just happened to look at the phone message and had it repeat itself three times until I taped it in the back. The unit itself is on a carpet, level, and does function very smoothly. There have been at least six instances of this, and so far no repeats since I taped the area down at the safety.

3 cat home - best purchase ever
Title says it all! I wish I would have bought my litter robot years ago! I went ahead and got the big boy with all the bells and whistles in January 2026, and it has been a game changer. I have a 16lb cat, 13 lb cat and 7 lb cat and all three use it without any issues. Don’t hesitate just get it!

I am too old to care for a cat without this Litter Robot! We love it at our house. Don’t have to change litter bag but about once every 6 weeks and only takes about 5 minutes! Quiet and odorless. Stays clean. Looks nice.

Every update makes this app worse.
This app sucks and every update makes it worse. Now it’s essentially useless as I cannot control the feedings. I cannot skip a meal or turn the schedule off to skip the meal that way.
If I try to, it spins forever and times out or it will temporarily appear skipped and turn itself back on.
The one advantage this feeder had for years was the app controls, and now they have totally removed that functionality.
Save yourself some money and get a cheaper feeder off Amazon. This brand is not worth it anymore and has been going down the tubes for years.

Just got my Litter Robot. Easy to set up.

This thing is amazing and has saved our lives with 2 cats. However, it disconnects so dang often and you have to pull the whole heavy thing out to scan the QR code that's on the back of the robot to reconnect! It drives me crazy and I wish there was a better fix for it because it's absurd having to do that while pregnant.

App Notifications Needed
I have all options on for notifications, but still don’t know when the litter is low, when there has been an error, or any other notification I might want. I love the litter box, but the app falls short.
EVO is NOT like the rest!
I purchased the 5 and loved it. Gave 5 to my daughter for two cats. She loves it. I replaced 5 with EVO. Purchased two EVO’s for our home and vacation home. I am not a fan. You have to literally get on the floor to see the controls. One of the EVO’s is constantly malfunctioning, prompting me that the bonnet is off (it’s not). Setting them up for the app is troublesome. The bags have torn on both devices when slipping the waste tray into position. 5 was a breeze, both the EVO’s have been challenging.

Really dislike the robot
I really dislike this little robot. We’ve had it for a few years and every time I clean it, it gives me trouble. Put back together and there’s always a series of weird, blinking lights that have to go and troubleshoot. Wish I never bought it.
LOVE this!
I love how the waste goes right into a smell-free container and lets me know when it’s full. I got the litter hopper to automatically refill the litter. Love the easy app. My 10 year old cat adjusted to the litter robot immediately (I showed him where to scratch around) and he is all frisky after he uses it- he loves it!

its a life changer! the wast gets cleaned and it doesn't matter if i am home or not. it is saving a lot of litter and the cats act like they love the idea that they have a clean place to go at all times. i can never go back to the standard litter box. i would like to see some additional settings in the app. 1 an option to not trigger a cycle until its been enter twice. 2 a longer delay the max delay is 30 minutes i would love to see 60 or 90 minute option too

Love my litter robot but why is the app login not working?
Love my litter robot, it’s life changing but I’m paying for the full features and being able to have peace of mind while I travel that all is well with my kitties. With the app login not working, the app is basically worthless. Please fix!
Ok but could be better
Needs better filtering and won’t let u reassign after a few days. UI needs more polish.
Also, some of my cats are terrified of this thing… they know the camera is watching, they feel the scan, lol.
2 of the cats do use it regularly. This is for the robot 5. The robot 4, they are not as afraid of but they also don’t use it.

Not accurate
Bought two litter robots and was looking forward to tracking my cats. Weight is never accurate. One weighs a little under 7lbs and the other is 12. App continues to say cat weighs around 10-14lbs and another is 15. So hard to tell if it’s sometimes weighing the larger cat correctly. After checking Reddit it’s clear the weight function isn’t accurate. Neither is camera for identifying and same with waste.
