Updated app is virtually unusable
The app used to work just fine for me when they had you log in with your google account. Now that they’ve changed things, it’s much harder to search wines, items do not stay in the cart from the app to the website, and there seems to be no way to redeem your credits through the app anymore. Also, customer service has been incredibly slow to respond, and then responded with utterly unhelpful suggestions in bad English that was difficult to make heads or tails of (no offense if English isn’t someone’s first language, but customer service should be able to effectively communicate with customers). They then told me I could just email them the wines I wanted to order and they could place it for me, which really completely defeats the purpose of the app. I live rural and don’t have a home internet connection at the moment, so the phone is my only option to order from, so the website isn’t much help as it’s not very phone friendly.
Just save your money and buy wine at the grocery store. They can’t ship a bunch of stuff to most states anyway it turns out.

Lacks transparency but at least there’s wine
I signed up for Winc in order to try their selection of sugar-free wines. I received my first box and enjoyed almost all of the wines that I got. I did not receive subsequent boxes, however, since it is a manual process and I did not realize I must personally select wines for the following months. I forgot about my subscription and a few months later found that I had been charged over $60/month for wine—non refundable. I was able to order wines but the prices are about twice that of shopping at my local grocery for each bottle. Cancelling is a very difficult process. You must contact support and if you don’t answer a series of emails by your next billing date, you will be charged for the next month, non refundable. I liked the wines but they were not worth the cost and hassle of managing this subscription.

This App is a High School Elective
Not sure who at Winc contracted their kid to create this app but it needs work. And hey youth in question, don’t take my 1 star as negative feedback, instead focus on how you can grow! The overall appearance takes me back to having a Motorola Raz0r when flip phones were a status symbol. There’s no “back button” in case I decided I don’t want white wine but need more red or vice versa. My main complaint this doesn’t feel like a genuine experience and I want it to feel special.

So Disappointed!
I downloaded the app to sign into my account. Oh wait, I can’t do that. I attempted to sign in using the email, nope that doesn’t work either. The longer I try to sign in, the more I hear the word “SCAM”. You want my money, I get that. But check it out. You’ve got to have a business people want to keep ordering from, right? I’m a business owner, I went to college, I understand. It seems, once the customer gets their initial shipment, it serves your business for the customer to not have access to their account so they can’t make an order. You’d prefer to just knock our bank accounts every month “to build up points”, riiiiight???? Sneaky, but not that original 🙄 I’m out. I’ll cancel my credit card before you’ll get another penny from me.

Omg I just want to log in
I am a winc subscriber and I would just love to be able to hop into the app to see my profile. Now it used to be that you click the app and it prompts you to log in…every time. That was annoying. Now, however, not only do you need to log in but you are taken to the company home page and good luck finding anywhere to access your profile. Frustration is setting in… Also it looks like the company has declined to provide privacy information, super shady. It is concerning as a customer.
