Great choice and value
Makes me look like I know what I’m talking about and buying when my wine connoisseur friends come over for drinks. App is easy to use but a little clunky with the filters. Overall I would recommend and do use it for most of my wine purchses
Delivery problem
Was informed by DHL mr delivery was going to be late…never turned up. Contacted Winedrops customer service and explained the situation, they contacted DHL and within a couple of days my order was credited to my account and also a credit for me to purchase a bottle of my choice. I re ordered the same that didn’t arrive plus the extra bottle and it all arrived in no time at all. Couldn’t praise the company higher as the guarantee they give is faultless. Excellent to the last. Thank you, David.

Cheap wine BUT misleading
Be aware there is a £119 annual subscription fee which isn’t made clear until it’s debited from your account - without notice or a confirmation email (they confirm everything else, why not the membership charge!) - in fairness they refunded the £119 fee as I challenged within their 48 hour grace period but had I not been checking my CC and missed their (made up) grace period timeline I’d have been fuming. Obviously a hot topic for them as the replies are all templated and clearly regularly issued to disgruntled customers.
On a side note the 6 bottles I did order arrived on time, well packaged and are significantly cheaper - if you’re spending more than £40 a month on wine this could be good value but they should make the subscription model clearer.

This has expanded my understanding and palette with mostly delicious and occasionally massively discounted booze. Be sure to Google the average price before buying however
