Horrible banking statement and customer support

The bank can just decide if they want or dont want to let you open an account regardless of any reason. Even if there is no reason to not let me open an account they have decided due to “some internal policies “ they cannot open my account. I called the customer support and he straight up wasnt even interested in my issue and sounded like he is waiting to cut the call. I asked him for the time it will take to whitelist me and he didnt even care and just said u cant make an account and didnt even try anything.

Ridiculous VPN / Location triggers

Hard and even unable to use abroad cause of location restrictions, false VPN detection and constant logouts the moment you need the app.

Impossible to confirm transaction without logging into the app, so while abroad I will start using different banks now.

can't open the App everytime after update

It’s a good platform, can be better

Pros:
- Super easy to sign up and get started
- One stop platform to invest in the UAE and USA including ETF
- Platform is fluid and super fast
- Charges are nominal and supports both long term investing and trading
Cons:
- I took 2 stars away for this - you will get one big and messy portfolio across UAE, USA stocks and ETFs. No possibility to segregate them into different portfolios to see how each one is doing. This is basic, when Wio has built a great platform, there is no excuse to cut short on this basic feature.

Why no VPN usage?

So frustrating that you can’t access the app whilst using a VPN, I’ve read the other responses to this and by saying that by not using a VPN it makes the app more secure surely highlights the developers complete lack of understanding of how or what VPN’s do and makes me question the security of the app in general.
