I’ve been with this bank since I was 18 years old and it’s been 7 years now. And I love them .
Bad for transfers
Woodforest’s transfer limits are extremely restrictive and inconvenient, especially for business accounts. Limiting transfers to $500 each and only $1,000 per month makes the service inefficient and impractical for normal business banking needs.
This Bank
I have had this bank for 15 years. It fails me at the most needed time. I make a decent amount of money. You cannot convince me that over the course of this time I have not had close to if not a million dollars pass thru this account. It’s always failing. It’s archaic. I really don’t see the benefits. Ive started an account with Wells Fargo less then 6 months ago and had more benefits and reliability. This app is NOT reliable.A few weeks ago I was shopping with my daughter. The app was down. I almost could not get our groceries even though I had plenty of money in my account. Thankfully my son who banks with a different bank leaves his wallet in my car. So I paid that way.
Now it’s my daughter’s birthday. I am trying to use MY money to buy her lunch and dessert except I can’t cause the app is down. If you have money and you want to spend it with no worries. I suggest a different bank and I will be moving my money ASAP.

The app sucks it pretty simple I shouldn’t have to wait all day to see where my money at
Changing banks because of app
This is the second time in a month that the mobile app has been down and I have been unable to use my funds to buy anything
I lock my debit card when I’m not using it and I can not get into the app to turn my debit card back on.

Something always wrong
There’s always something dumb happening on this app where often times there are days where the app is unusable. I’m often times unable to log in at all. There’s days where I have to enter my password to use the app and it disappears every time I enter it to log in. It’s really frustrating. I’ve had this bank for 10 years and I’m honestly considering closing due to this app, how they stopped partnering with Zelle, and the ridiculous fees. Be a long term customer get rewarded with $30 fees

This bank has been a big part of my life now for 8 years.
Convenient
I like the fact that I do not have to drive 25 minutes to the closest bank to make deposits.
Excellent Regional Bank
LOCALLY OWNED, not a "major international bank." Said international banks have unfortunately proven their riskiness by making speculative investments in options and futures. Excellent financial strength, superb customer service. ATM card works globally once their main office is notified --- excellent security on this as you need to provide anticipated dates and countries. Wide variety of loans and investment products, with some thru partners. Most important, they don't do risky things like options trading in equities, bonds or foreign currencies.

I have been wanting to leave Woodforest for the lack of app functions that competitors have. I am glad to see that picture deposit and Zelle are now both available.
