Absolutely love this game. It combines the strategy of chess with the creativity of word puzzles in a really unique way. You actually have to think, plan, and adapt—not just scan for words. It’s easy to pick up but gets challenging in a good way as you play more. Clean design, smooth experience, and very addictive. You can tell a lot of thought went into this. Highly recommend!

My favorite word game, great customer service
Based on the old app Wordbase, this game (‘Invasion’, not the other one in the app) provides the ideal balance between serious strategic challenge (a kind of mix between scrabble and chess) and all around fun. The developers still working out the kinks in the code in this version, but if you contact them with an issue they’re on the case immediately.

The words can form in any direction and you can just find any word you can, without a specific list. The game automatically gives you the list of the word definitions so you can quickly learn new words that you or your opponent find on the board.
There is also a territory capture aspect with two different versions of the rules.
I like the ample amount of player statistics and leaderboards that compare various player achievements.
The daily puzzles feature is awesome. I love finding words that other players have used in their games and have the daily leaderboard of who can solve puzzles in the least amount of time and with the least. mMistakes.

A unique and fun game that gets the brain juices flowing! An inventive and refreshing new take on word games - both fun & intellectually stimulating.
Brain feels like it’s getting faster
Ive been playing the game for about 2 weeks now, and I’ve noticed a great improvement in my cognitive abilities. One thing about me is that I really enjoy these word search games, so it’s been great for me to sit back and play this everyday for sometime. I’ve been able to play crosswords puzzles in the local newspaper now and actually complete them as well. The app is great.

The best word game out there!
LetterGrid stands out from the rest of the word games out there because it really makes you think! Your chance to win does not depend on which letters you get during the game like in scrabble. All letters that you can use are on the board from the get go. The game is similar to chess where you have to anticipate the moves your opponent makes.
The daily puzzles in the game are a lot of fun. It is awesome how your position on the leaderboard is dynamic just like the stock market and you have a ticker of your current average points along with the recent change!
