MCAT Tutoring

I had my first lesson with Abdulkader yesterday and the way he was able to create a schedule for me in just an hour and the assessment that we had near the end of the lesson was amazing. He was able to explain things in a way that I had not seen but was easy enough for me to understand. It was a great first session and I look forward to booking Abdulkader for more sessions to come.

Great help

We started working with Robin when my daughter was struggling with Precalculus BC. Her grades were not very consistent—sometimes she would get an A, but other times a B or even a C. She really wanted to get back to consistently earning an A, and Robin was a great help. He took the time to identify the gaps in her understanding and worked with her to strengthen those areas. After working with him for a while, her grades improved and she was able to get back to earning As. My daughter also feels that Robin’s explanations and guidance have been very helpful. We really appreciate his patience, knowledge, and support!

Bill is the best!

Bill helped me with options basic all the way to options taxation. Guided me into understanding what a question is asking and how to answer it taking it step by step and not jumping to conclusions. Great lesson!!

FAQ

What does the Wyzant app do?

The Wyzant app helps parents and students find and connect with expert tutors for both in-person and online lessons. It allows users to search for tutors across many subjects, compare their qualifications and reviews, and book lessons directly through the app.

What subjects can I find tutors for?

You can find tutors for a vast array of subjects, including math (algebra, calculus, statistics), science (chemistry), languages (English, Spanish, French), test preparation (SAT, ACT, GRE), and core skills for elementary school children. The app boasts a large number of tutors covering diverse academic and career-related topics.

Is the Wyzant app free to use?

The Wyzant app itself is free to download and use. While there are no direct costs associated with using the app to find and book tutors, the fees for tutoring sessions are set by individual tutors and will be paid directly to them.

Can I meet tutors online or in person?

Yes, the app facilitates both online and in-person tutoring. Tutor profiles will indicate whether they offer online lessons, in-person lessons, or both. Online sessions often utilize features like video chat and interactive whiteboards.

How does the app help track student progress?

The app provides a centralized place to view all lesson summaries and messages exchanged with your tutor. This allows you to easily monitor your child's progress, review what was covered in each session, and stay informed about their learning journey.
