Does the job!
I was very skeptical to use it after seeing low star ratings but I tried it out anyways and I’m already seeing the effect in just 1 week! Keep improving this app!

Ya, No. I read about the app and it’s just Xfinity getting more info from everyone. Now they want in your contacts, I read in some states they even collect health info from those who are blind. That was their one example. I think it was Washington & one other. When is this going to stop.
This app isn’t something that isn’t already available don’t answer the phone or in settings. I’d be content with a landline if I didn’t have to use the internet is there phone lines anymore? This is crazy

Defective useless
I never had so much spam until I switched to Xfinity mobile. I’ve called twice to have them resolve it. I use the call guard and phone settings - still get spam. This doesn’t do jack. It allows calls to get through just silences them and not leave voicemails. Useless
Fails to recognize some calls
This app fails to recognize certain calls that my iPhone registers. When I use the “search” feature it tells me that the number has not contacted me recently yet my iPhone shows the number called today.
The worst app for Spam blocking
If I could give this a -100 I would definitely do so I have my phone on do not disturb. I have every single set the correct way to block I still get phone calls coming through.! Don’t waste your time honestly switch carriers because Comcast/Xfinity has gone downhill! What used to be a feature now you have to pay an increase cost for this feature

Doesn’t Work
I got the premium unlimited mobile plan, specifically to stop the number of robocalls I get daily. I’m pretty tech savvy and no matter how I adjust the settings in the app, most of the robocalls still get through. It’s very disappointing. So I went back to my old mobile plan that doesn’t include Xfinity Call Guard. I’ll just have to deal with the annoying robocalls I get on the daily. There’s no stopping them, sadly to say.

Fails to do the basic
This app should block spam calls… it needs a feature to put key words to block when it asks for a reason of the call… wish i could tell it to block all calls that say loan… i do not want a loan or care about a loan from an unknown bank… please add a feature to block key words so my phone stops ringing 300 times a day….

Less effective recently
Was working well just a couple months ago but now I’m getting several spam calls that make it through a day. I report each number, and hope other are too. In any case, for whatever reason it’s not working as well these days.
Perhaps adding filter options could help. Many of the states these calls originate from are places that would never call me, for instance.

Getting better
Re-reviewing this because it seems to be improving, catches a lot more spam calls now (and I’m getting more than ever so it’s helpful)
Got worse since I downloaded
I wouldn’t get as many spam calls and messages until I downloaded this, it is really annoying Don’t download!!
Could be way better
This app, and its features should be available to all Xfinity mobile customers. Not just the customers behind a premium paywall. Do better Comcast!

I recently switched to Xfinity mobile, and immediately started getting tons of spam calls and texts. I downloaded this app, but it only works with “Premium Unlimited!” Even though I’m paying for Unlimited, Xfinity can’t block spam?! How could blocking spam even cost them any more? Horrible practice and anti-consumer.

Garbage
Xfinity shields very few VOIP calls. They do next to nothing to prevent VOIP spam. It wouldn’t surprise me if Xfinity is selling customer lists to scam centers to target them.
Not blocking spam calls
Forget about blocking the app cannot even list the recent calls! So cannot even select and block manually!

Despite having a 5 line unlimited plan that already costs over $300/month, it says it’s not included in my plan, but won’t explain why.

Perpetually checking account status
Worked great the first day. Now it's always "checking account status." Troubleshooting is a joke. Have removed and reinstalled app. Still doesn't work.
