Have a USB-C scopearound endoscope. Worked great on version 1.0.15 but since updating to 1.0.18 it no longer takes photos or video and worse it removed all my saved photos and videos of my eardrum from surgery.
Will update review if developer fixes this.
11/20/25 Another update but app still broke. No longer takes photos or video through app. Have to use my camera screenshot to take photo of my eardrum. Video does not work. No customer service sent many requests no response.
12/24/25 Another app update and still broke. Still does not take pics or video. But it keeps asking you to give full permission to access ALL your photos? Why does this app now want access to all my photos? Even the sample photos of the app show it won’t take photos or video there blank. What a rip off you buy the ScopeAround and the booklet tells you to download this app and it doesn’t work anymore after version 1.0.15

Finally this developer updated and fixed this app issue. It now takes photos again using my ScopeAround endoscope and saves them to my library so I can’t lose them. I have updated my star count from 1 star up to 4 stars. It took almost a year but finally it’s fixed!! Thanks

Stopped working after 15 minutes
Easy to use in Android and iPhone, until it stops working. I tried all the troubleshooting tips. The camera did go through a small amount of water while we were threading it through a pipe - don’t know if that’s what caused it.
Security alert
If you don’t allow full access to your photos, you can’t take pictures or videos. Ridiculous.
Not saving pictures
It started working very well. Here a little while ago, the app stopped saving pictures. I get an exclamation mark on the picture. There is no picture saved. Sometimes, I have just seconds to get a picture, but that is ruined and it will not save. I’ve tried it on two different iPhones and still the same response. Why is this not working?

Depends on camera model
I have two separate scopes that use this app. One works fine, the other does not work at all. The light on the camera lights up but no video signal and the app does not recognize the scope being plugged in.

Works well
For $24 or whatever this cost this is not bad at all. Worked well. No issues with the app. Not sure why it’s rated so poorly.

Worked great when I first got it, now it says the camera is not connected to my phone but the light is on. I’ve deleted the app and re-downloaded twice but it still

App works very well for me. Very well. If you’re looking for a button to change lenses from side to front view, you won’t find it in the app because there’s a physical button on the cable, where light adjustment also is, to do this. If you are looking for where your video(s) are you just tap lower left image ‘then’ on the next screen that comes up tap the word ‘videos’ and they appear. After that there are export functions using same Apple iOS method every other app uses.

Doesn't work at all
Since this device uses USB-C, that means having to use a USB-C to male adapter. Nothing happens upon plugging in the device. I did test it with an Android device and THAT works.

I love this device & its silicone attachments for safety. Works really well & has a clear view of inner ear.

No issues with app or camera. Helped me clean out my kids ears.
Perfect for my need
I’ve had an inner ear infection for months now and it has allowed me to document my healing process. I would like to download the album of photos but don’t see how. Oh and photos don’t label left or right ear.
Disgusted and Disappointed
Worked great for a few days... camera now will not connect to the phone-- did everything suggested and still doesn't connect. Worthless and waste of money for only working a few days
