Gotta wait 12 min to do a mock draft, ain’t no way…what’s the deal with that?
Just gets worse every year
They’re intentionally making the draft lobby super slow and overcrowded so you’ll pay to mock draft with their AI garbage algorithm. I’ve already seen how bad your AI is at auto drafting, why would I pay for that nonsense?
Mock drafts are trash right now
I don’t usually leave reviews, but this has been pretty frustrating. Every time I try to join a mock draft, the rooms are already full. It seems like there are only a couple of 12-team drafts every five minutes, and they’re gone almost instantly.
I get that this happens in late August when everyone is getting ready for the season, but it’s still only the end of July. It’d be great if Yahoo added more mock draft rooms so people actually have a chance to get in.

Great App!
The app it self is amazing and the drafts are super fun but this year it’s glitching every 10 seconds when you draft making it extremely difficult to use.
Keepers
You would think if you get to set keepers and it’s based off the rounds you would be able to see what round they were drafted last year
The new app layout is absolutely horrible!
I have been playing fantasy sports with the Yahoo app for several years now and I have to say this newest app layout is the worst I have ever seen! As someone who is visually impaired, and uses voiceover for their every day tasks on their iPhone as well as playing fantasy sports through the Yahoo app, this new layout is absolutely atrocious! I only see if I'm winning or losing with my teams and what my points are and I don't see the other person's points. I have to go into that team and seek out all matchups before I can see what their point total is. Yahoo keeps bumping around with this app and it's making it worse every time they do it! I absolutely dread going into the app now to play because of this new layout!

Mock Drafts Suck
You join a mock lobby and you lose your spot if you don’t leave the app in the same spot while you wait for the 8:12 countdown. You lose the spot you have and it doesn’t save it for you. Then you spend 20 min trying to get another mock
Need better design

Missing UI Features
After the 12.4 update, many of the newer NFL fantasy draft UI features are completely gone on mock drafts…
For instance, the markers on the draft sheet showing all of your future picks beyond your next are missing!

I’m the commissioner of our home league that is now 22 years old. After over a decade on ESPN, our home league made the change to Yahoo for fantasy football 8 years ago (2018). And we all felt it was the right move every year until this past year. I listen to XM radio channel 87 about 40-50 hours per week due to my business and being able to do so, and yahoo made a large shift to AI instead of employees, laying plenty of people off. I didn’t think it would be a huge deal for us, yet all of a sudden our home league with 8 seasons on yahoo disappeared. We also do a guillotine league with the same people on yahoo. 4 of the 12 teams show our home league, the 8 do not. I’ve tried to contact them at least 7-8 times and I only get automated computer AI slop and can’t get in touch with someone to actually help. I’ve also emailed 4-5 times with the same problem. I’m ALWAYS told I’m “likely” using the wrong login account, which is impossible because I’ve been using the same one for my fantasy sports for over 2 decades now. NO HUMAN WILL RESPOND TO ME OR FIX THIS!!!! I’ve been a “Diamond” level competitor for years now, and it’s astonishing how shortsighted this trash company has become. We even collected money last season to pay for yahoo+ so we could add a few other cool scoring/matchup systems. Yet this multi billion dollar corporation has essentially sold out for AI and cutting their VERY essential human presence for more money on their end. I hate to give up my incredible record/history over the years, but this is just flat out unacceptable and a perfect example of why greedy corporate (insert bad word)’s are gonna ruin many systems over the next decade. I’m already in another long standing league that made the change to Sleeper a few weeks ago and it’s sounding like that’s what we will be doing too. I doubt many or anybody read through this novel, but if you did, beware of what yahoo fantasy sports has become. There are MANY other options that have customer service and actually care about your experience and take input, while being there to help when it’s truly needed. Yahoo has become a joke and I suspect they’ll continue to lose fantasy sport leagues to the other up n comers who aren’t being run by corporate giants who only care about money.

Newest update 12.4 breaks UI
Newest update is terrible. Now if you press your team from the home page you see the standing instead of your team. Before you see your team. Why break something that works!
New update critique
The red and green icons (sit and start) are very dim in dark mode on the Apple app. I wish there was a way to fix that for those of us who use dark mode 24/7
