Decent app, but the writers shouldn’t pretend they know about sports that they don’t
This app would look better if they just gave up attempting to pretend like they know about soccer. It’s embarrassing that suddenly US sports writers think that they have a clue when they really don’t. Same goes for baseball. Writers watch three games and think they’re experts. WWE is not a sport
I get they are athletes, but WWE matches are scripted with predetermined outcomes. Quit pushing it as a sport or create a button that says “I want nothing to do with a sweaty soap opera.”
Keeps saying notifications are disabled, but they’re not
The app doesn’t even show up in the notification settings menu with the other apps, and there’s no notification settings available to turn on on the individual app settings either. Obviously some sort of glitch that needs to be fixed.
Nonstop scam pharma ads
It is decent for seeing my scores, but it has nonstop ads trying to sell snake oil to old people. Also, if you use live activities which is somewhat useful, you cannot turn off vibration on live updates.
WNBA standings
Since east/west don’t matter in the wnba standings it would be nice to be able to view the full standings rather than having to go to another app to see this. Currently ATL and INDY are tied for 5th at 16-10, but this is not easily apparent from the yahoo standings which shows them tied for 1st in the east.

Scores and Features
Please add college baseball scores and teams. Also, I would like to be able to see TV network listed for each game, especially if it’s a national broadcast for MLB, NCAAF, and NCAA basketball.

App sucks… can’t go in scores without seeing a dating app about nude women, I’m a female that doesn’t want to see that and neither does/will my husband…will delete app because it refuses to stop ads when we want them stopped!
Stop the score banners!
Deleting this app because I’m constantly getting live score updates on top banner of my Home Screen even when locked, for teams I don’t even follow. All notifications and haptics are turned off and they still show up.
Good but could be better
I like it about the same if not a bit more than TheScore. Yahoo Sports introduced an indicator for a win/lose streak for each team. Problem with this is that there’s no visual indicator for whether it’s a win streak or a lose streak. So while I know that the dodgers are on a win streak, I look at the Mets and think that they’ve done the impossible and not been a complete embarrassment. Obviously this is not the case but there should be some level of visual indication just for clarification and to avoid confusion. Maybe the little fire icon could be a water droplet shape or something or change the color but that’s my main gripe even if it’s nitpicky.
Another thing is that the send feedback button in settings doesn’t actually take me anywhere, just loads before giving me a retry message.
Final bit is that it is a bit laggy and slow at times, sometimes I’ll try looking at an MLB game for live scores and nothing shows on screen at all. Unsure if that’s because of my device or not but I feel even if I don’t have the latest iPhone it should still run at decent speeds.

Annoying ads
The ads are beyond annoying. There is nothing that makes sense with them and just get in the way. Please at least make them sports related at the minimum
Add Funds Not Working
I’m trying to pay for my Fantasy Football League and every time I fill out my information and click continue nothing happens. I’ve tried on the app and Safari and it doesn’t work, I even deleted the app and nothing. I tried to do it through the wallet instead of purchase team and still nothing like come on bro every year or every update it’s something.

World Cup Start Times
Yahoo having trouble getting the start times right for the biggest event of the year. Mexico Ecuador shown as 9 pm edt for last four days. At 906, it’s updated to 10 pm edt. Not the first time either. Seems like an important detail to get right.
Poorly optimized for screen
The latest update reduced the usable screen area to less than a third, with large empty bars on each side, making the actual content small and difficult to read.
No broadcaster published
When you pick a scores tab/game , like tonight Boston/ Yankees Am I missing it, or could you list in the ‘more info’ section at the bottom , who is broadcasting the game
FIFA Table standings!
England & Ghana are currently at halftime, playing in their 2nd match. Yet once the 0-0 score is posted, the table standings take the result as final.
Another example, once the first team of any match scores, the table standings treat this result as final and show a win for the team that scores first.
Finally to write this review I had to erase the review I wrote last year, so looks like we can only have one review submitted at a time.

Great app but too much betting focus
This has been my favorite sports app since before yahoo even owned it (I think it was called sportacular or something like that?) and it’s easily the best one on the App Store in terms of UI. But over time they have added more and more focus on sports betting which is a real shame. They should at the very least provide the option to remove the betting ads from view. I don’t need to know “how tempting it is to take the under” on the World Cup games, etc., I use this app for scores and stats. Stop turning a great sports app into a betting app, nobody wants that.

great but sometimes freezes
I've been using it for years as it's great for tracking many sports. Only problem I have is that it freezes up on a regular basis when I come back to it. I have to close the app and reopen it.

WNBA Live Activities
Good app but how is there no ability to enable live score updates for WNBA teams? I keep checking the settings and you can enable notifications for a whole bunch of things for the W teams but not score updates via live activities.
Tired of it ignoring settings
Why does it change my notification settings update. It won’t even let me change them back without uninstalling and reinstalling it—it seems like EVERYONE single update
