Very disappointed with this company. The product quality is extremely poor, and items frequently arrive damaged. On top of that, they refuse to issue refunds, even when there are clear quality issues. I would not recommend buying from them.

Shipping service is poor
Used to be good service but recently YAMI started to use Amazon Shipping, my package is going all over the places and take forever. Will try to use other online store to avoid the running around!

I’ve been ordering from Yami for several years and have had consistently great experiences. Their app works well, the customer service has been good the few times I’ve had to reach out over the years, and the shipment times are crazy fast.

Horrible customer service
I asked if they can credit my refund as gift card balance when a package is damaged and undeliverable. Without permission from me or any explanation, they refunded to my original payment method. I wanted to verify to decided if I want a replacement sent or getting a refund but never given the opportunity. Their tone of voice is very impolite and ignorant even when I asked a question politely. My advice is: if things go smoothly and you don’t need to deal with the horrible customer service, you might be fine. But if something comes up, anticipate rude customer service and getting nowhere with your request.

The new update released on March 7th break the accessibility. Instead of reading out the items in Chinese, it read the items instead. I would like to see the app improve the accessibility a bit

There is a bug at checkout where items that I try to buy don’t actually make it into the order and get put back into the cart after payment. Contacted customer service and they can’t duplicate the error and told me to replace my order and they would give me “points” instead of refunding shipping and to make sure I actually put the items in my cart. Like I enjoy making up these kinds of stories for fun. 😂 Update- developers
