App only shows an error messages.
Sadly, a very poorly built app for such a wonderful organization
Who ever built this app should’ve been terminated. The Y is such a wonderful organization but this app has functionality and operating issues. Awful. I’m sure it will get fixed but as of Jan 2026 it needs significant improvements.
Apple 26.2 Update
App is not compatible with Apple’s IOS 26.2 update. Classes will not show.
Ok update but lost features
The big update was an improvement but it eliminated notifications for when a class booking became open and other notifications just don’t seem the same. The interface is more responsive and new but far too much focus on the extra apps. I have an iPhone and apple fitness. I just want to get reminders of class booking and facilities closures. Pool schedule etc.

No functionality
Essentially the function of any app is to make routine transactions convenient to execute on one’s mobile device. On the YCLT app none of this is possible. It errors out when you attempt to book a class or any reservation process.
There’s a bug
There’s a bug as when i click on “classes“ I only see an error message saying “Error. Something went wrong. Try again”… please fix it..
Ridiculously poor
Was this app designed 20 years ago? They’d be better off having no app… I thought the website was clunky and antiquated until I downloaded this garbage

Poor quality app for such a large vibrant YMCA system
This app has a bug where it defaults the group x schedule to a Y location that I don’t go to. This is an irritating bug because the app worked fine for months. This bug is still not fixed. When the Y converted to this app I was not able to login to the app until after the YMCA staffed fixed the problem. To add to the irritation, the previous app had worked fine for years. I not recommend the EGYM app

No point
The only way to get points is to leave your precise location active always. Why does the app need to know my exact location outside the gym??
Updates please
For classes please have a way to add a favorites or a way to notify when a class is available for booking!!!
Useless
This app is useless to me. I can't book anything or reserve anything. I receive an error every time I try and view group classes or make a reservation. I've tried logging out and redownloading the app several times.

Basic features like resetting your password is a challenge. This is a very underwhelming app.

App just doesn’t work on my phone
This is hands down one of the worst user interfaces. I have tolerated it but since the changes have occurred it doesn’t even work! I can’t see classes, schedules, book. Worthless…
