What's New in YMCA360

2.1.9

June 29, 2026

Faster, visually richer, easier to use... the next generation of the YMCA360 platform is here and brings your YMCA experience to your mobile device like never before. In 2.0, we've added great new features and updated every screen to help you find your favorite content, schedules, team members, learn from our rock-star instructors, and interact with your community, whenever you like and wherever you are on your health journey. In 2.1.9: * New: Added more granular control for branch-level messaging along with more detailed indicators of which branches a given message applies to when appropriate. * Fixed an issue where an empty Challenge carousel might partially display * Fixed an issue with category icons not always appearing on Live Streams by date listing * Fixed an issue with branch schedule types occasionally showing (and empty) despite being disabled * Fixed an issue with Profile Management and smaller screens by allowing more scrollable sections In 2.1.8: * This version is about the underlying plumbing involved with supporting new Wellness partners, not visual or feature changes. In 2.1.7: * Fixed an issue where some Highlighted Videos on the Watch tab auto-played with audio enabled In 2.1.6: * Squashed some text gremlins that snuck in after midnight. In 2.1.5: * NEW: Activity tracking now features the opportunity to invoke Life Fitness Connect (for participating Associations/Branches) * NEW: Multiple Highlighted Videos may appear on the Watch tab * BUGFIX: "My Challenges" was not scrollable with high numbers of registered challenges In 2.1.4: * Fixed an issue with social media icon display In 2.1.3: * Support for new legal requirements surrounding age requirements * Fixed an issue where the wrong initial tab is selected when viewing rewards (where the feature is available) * Fixed an issue where checked in reservations did not properly display a Cancel button (where feature available) * Fixed a sizing issue for class detail display when the class requires reservations but the reservation window has not yet opened (where feature available) In 2.1.2: * Updated branding * Multiple display bug fixes In 2.1.1: * Fixed an issue where the manual workout entry button misbehaved (hard to tap, blinked) for some users In 2.1.0 we continue to refine the experience and broaden our platform * Added more video attributes to listings * Added eligible workout types to challenges * Added landscape support for instructor detail page * Added zero-point events to Tracked Activities list * Added activity indicator to OTP submit * Added scrollability to message details to handle long messages/accessibility type size * Fixed a search bug where previous results may appear until typing in a new search term * Fixed an issue where changes in Message status may not appear without backing out of the screen * Fixed an issue where the "Favorite" status didn't properly reset between video selections * Improved handling for deep links when the category data is not yet loaded * Fixed a button size issue on the Activity display (Pro Max devices)

Convoluted, incomplete, and WILL take u back to the nightmarish, browser-based Daxko.

While this “app” is a slight improvement, it’s certainly not self-contained nor able to function independently—no WAY this should be assumed that you can get everything done here. It’s like the developers stopped short of actually finishing it, releasing it mid-swim. It’s little more than a general landing page of sorts with limited functionality that serves only to circuitously get you back to the frustrating, browser-based, 1990s nightmare that is Daxko the moment you want to look or sign up for programs or events. I sure hope YMCA isn’t paying actual money for Daxko: “Dark Ages” comes to mind. The fact that YMCA360 leads users BACK to Daxko is little more than a lazy bait and switch back to where we were BEFORE you launched this app. I often try to imagine older members attempting to navigate EITHER of these two poorly designed, non-intuitive platforms (Y360 or Daxko)…my guess is that they give up and ask the front desk clerk to help them. Do better soon, please. Surely there’s a generous and talented app guru out there who would like to donate their skills to help your local, non-profit YMCA?

Add features

I do like this app and its ability to allow me to track my workouts. However it lacks some needed features. One is the ability to edit what we enter or remove something due to an error in typing. Also add a lap counter for those of us who swim laps so we can track our laps daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.

Totally useless for my Y

Everything redirects to my Y website from the app and I can’t save anything to my schedule. What’s the point of an app if it takes you to the website? Absolutely useless waste of space app

Needs Apple Wallet support

Please add Apple wallet support for membership cards. That is really the only thing I need this app to do

My YMCA quit using app

I loved this app but my YMCA said it was too $$$ and not enough people were using it.
